Pickpocketing - Gold Items?

My question is, can you get Gold Stolen items from Pick pocketing? I have succeeded to get purple so that made me wonder.

SirCritical✭✭✭✭✭Sadly, I haven't found a gold yet. Neither a purple, while I have reached the "pickpocket a thousand citizens"-achi more than a month ago, and do the job since, also. But I do not wonder about it, as I see ZOS' attitude about it, the nerfing value of the items, the BoP items, even after launder...0 -

✭I haven't seen any gold items yet although I'm doing my daily routes with several characters.
Purple items I found 2 or 3 by now, but also a few purple recipes and motifs which count towards an achievement, too. Blockz888✭✭✭My feelins about is it actually too low in cost.. Purple is 3x as "valueable" than a blue but it is 100x rarer atleast than blue.
To me that doesnt make sense, either they make the gain more for getting a purple or reduce rarity. I can expect it to become not that amazing thing to get purple after a while because well its just the same as 3 blue items? Thats a good point out, else if there were a gold there would obviously be an achievement right? How could that 1 not be an achievement? Hmmm maybe its a secret achievement

✭✭✭I've stolen both an imperial motif and a primal one, so yeah, they are there. There are places I rob regularly on my rounds that have yielded motifs, mostly blue ones. michael_bimson✭✭✭The only gold item I have stolen is the Imperial Motif, once, and that was from a dresser if I remember correctly, definitely not from pickpocketing.
