Khajiiti redheads - a rare breed? Or a bug?

Hi! I noticed that I can't make a redhead Khajiit, I can only choose white, black, blondes and browns. I have seen some redhead Khajiits, the most well-known is Razum-dar. Are they a rare breed or do they use some uncommon hair dye? If it's the latter, then I'd like some, I'll pay handsomely in gold.

I always assumed Raz dyes it.

Partially because it's not available for players and I don't remember encountering red haired khajiit in other games. Partially because he seems like the kind of guy who would defy social conventions and dye his hair a vivid colour.

Kind of weird for a spy to want to stand out, is it not?

Raz is just that good. B)

    And also remember (mild spoiler)
He's got access to magical disguises. What matter if your mane is a noteworthy color when you don't even appear to be the same species?

I would imagine new hair colours will come with the barbershop

I'm convinced ZOS hate carrot tops. Bosmer can mange a dark reddish brown at best.
Hair dye is 1st known to have been used by the Ancient Egyptians so I don't think its too implausible to allow all races the choice of blonde, brunette, red and black even if we exclude the more garish shades popular in anime and the late 70s.

Yeah, Raz is not the only red-haired Khajiit npc in the game, only the most well-known. There are quite a few others, although I didn't make a compilation of them (I made a compilation of black-haired Altmer npcs though, because I need my Altmer to have black hair and it is unavailable in the character creator). There is one in the docks of Woodheath, Greenshade, that really stands out because of her red whiskers. I don't think it is dye because of the whiskers (you can see Raz has red whiskers too). Not that it CAN'T be dye, but even if it is, I see no reason why we shouldn't have access to it.

I surely hope so. One of the only things that can make me pay to change my characters' appearances is having access to more hair colors.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
