Can store bought costumes be dyed?

Before I go spending crowns on buying a costume to cover up my horrid outfit, can store bought costumes be color changed? I know in-game earned costumes cant be changed. I don't want to waste crowns on a costume with a terrible color scheme, which most seem to have.

Nope not at present. I was rather disappointed in this myself- they're treated as costumes outside of the inventory system.
TL;DR - If you got this far without reading the entire post you're either too lazy or suck at reading comprehension and probably don't belong in a public forum anyway. Just move along, you wouldn't understand.

Lame... @ZOS_GinaBruno , any intention of allowing us to dye costumes? You're losing money, a lot of people myself included, are not going to spend money on costumes if we are stuck on stock color schemes.

    What costumes allows dyeing?

I saw this exact same question in another thread. All the costumes I've ever had are not dyeable. these were earned through questing

I think that costumes purchased in the crown store alike, that are located in the costume tab, should be possible to dye. As for the disguises that take up item slots, they should not be dyable as they are are used as a disguise for a specific area often in relation to a quest.

What costumes "are" dyeable tho. None so far that I've earned so I'm curious why this is even a topic.
Dyeable costumes don't exist and never have

Nobody has said there are any. I think you've misunderstood the title and/or original post.

Yeah. costumes have never been part of the dye system. And personally I don't see much of a reason for that anyways...

...if I wanted to campaign for something more to wear, I'd say add more "civilian clothing" stuff, that's dyeable, but I'd love it if our clothiers could craft it and/or it was sold by tailors instead of being only stealable...
