I want to continue my subscription without credit card!

Searched everywhere in the forum, google, etc and didn't find any solution, just some vague promises that there will be time cards in the future available in eso store. I have paypal but can't pay for subscription since they ask credit card info to pay a monthly fee. All old online sites that sold time cards have no more stock. Amazon sells some but doesn't deliver in my country, etc. Why is it so hard for Zos to simply sell them themselves, thus making more money in the process? If I can't find a solution I'll have to play unsubbed and that's a pity since I want to support the game.

Please, give us options to buy time cards in a simple way and not having to waste time in search of a lost treasure. Just few days and my subscription ends!

That's odd, I have my subscription set up to come from my Paypal. Maybe I gave them my credit card info first and I'm just not remembering that...

I would suggest you check your local banks and stores to see if they sell pre-paid credit cards. I don't know what country you're in, but here in Canada they're common. You buy one for a set amount, and use it just like you would use a regular credit card, except that it's pre-paid like a gift card. Some are reloadable (when you run out of money on it, you can go back to where you bought it from and put more on it, or sometimes do it online), and some are not (when you run out of money on it, it becomes worthless plastic).

Thanks for the info, I made a search and it seems my bank proposes one of these cards, but only limited duration. Guess it's better than nothing. Still I think it's ZoS that has to offer us paiement alternatives and not let us in the dark like that, so most probably I will stay unsubbed until they do something for their loyal player base (from day 1). Seems Zos doesn't need my money, so be it :(.

What about the option of paying upfront for a set number of months via online banking? They had it before 1.6, is this option gone? Does anybody know?

(If it is, i will have the same problem, when my sub-time left expires...)

Where do you live? Does your bank offer debit cards?

I live in Belgium. I checked the retailer that had time cards in physical form but they don't have anymore. The problem is ZoS said in another post ( http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/147002/will-game-time-cards-still-be-available) that they will made them available but nothing and more and more players will run into this problem.

First off, you know this game is now free, right? There is no benefit to subscribing any longer. In fact, I urge you to NOT subscribe.

I have paypal as I said but can't use it since I don't find online sites that sell time cards. The recurrent fee from eso shop can be paid by paypal but only if you give paypal a credit card number.

Ok, weird thing, I was able to pay 90 days from ESO site using paypal. Don't know if it's ESO that took away the flag "recurrent paiement" or paypal that finally accepts to use the money on my account instead of a credit card number after I called them. So problem is fixed for me in this way. Thanks all for all advices :).

Unless you're in another country that's not true. My active sub is on PayPal right now...are you sure you're not doing something wrong?

I live in Belgium and made the same steps as before. I had paypal customer service on the phone and they said that I needed a credit card for a recurrent paiement. But today I tried again with just 30 days and they only added option to use my money on paypal account. So I tried again with 90 days this time to see if it was a problem when more than a month but it was ok too. Since it was the original paiement I wanted anyway I accepted the transaction and it will take effect in 5 days. So everything is ok now,. I have the feeling it's paypal that changed something after my phone call where I told them why I need a credit card to use paypal in a recurrent paiement if I can do the same immediately with the credit card itself.

I'll see in 5 days if the paiement is well done as expected... :)

Customers want to pay, but have a problem and are ignored (_completly_).
I'ld like to buy Orsinium, perhaps a membership too - with 3,4 clicks, like with paypal.
But i'm not not gonna organise a credit card especially and (for the near future) only for TESO.

You shouldn't need a credit card. I had a subscription since the game launched on pc, use Paypal to pay for it, don't have a credit card and never had any issues.

For the PC/Mac client, possibly including the Steam version, I find that they have updated 60-Day ESO Plus cards and also ESOTU crown cards in some US stores. Not sure about international.

Beware the old ESO 60-day time cards. I generally have problems with them. In one case, the code was no longer valid. In another case, the "scratch off" pad was more of a "peel off pad" because the adhesive that held the pad in place was weaker than the age-hardened scratch off material.

If you are looking for Crowns, I suggest the 60 Day ESO Plus cards instead of the 3000 Crown cards. The 3000 Crown cards are cheaper, but if you are not max level, the ESO Plus gives you more than that back in leveling bonuses. They are going to be adding crafting bags to ESO Plus sometime in the future (we don't know when).
