Cost for DLC?

Hey, I have a question, what do you think the cost for DLC will be when it comes out, when a mount costs $25 and a set of motifs almost $50 ?
are we looking at $60 DLC content? or more like $20-25?

No one knows. But given the prices they're charging for a horse and some books, I would expect DLC to sell for 250 bajillion crowns.

It really depends on where quality meets quantity. Some of their competition on PS4 (DCUO) used to sell DLC packs for $9.99. That included on the usual a few 8 man, 4 man, 2 man and solo content in addition to styles. Some DLC even included completely new classes or weapons.

They now sell content DLC for $9.99 a pop and $4.99 for older DLC. They can also be bundled 5 for $14.99.

Now if we are talking their relative Skyrim or Oblivion DLC then Skyrim is still selling their DLC for $19.99 a piece while Oblivion is offering all of their DLC packs for an extra $5. The Skyrim DLC were absolutely loaded with content and I think it would be unfair to compare the two.

I highly doubt the Elder Scrolls Online will boast extravagantly immense DLC packs after the first few are released. We need to remember that they have been working on these DLC packs for quite a while now and completely funded by subscriber only support which might not be indicative of the future content. There will probably be a decline in quality and size of these packs down the road.

We haven't seen any content yet with the caliber that b2p can offer yet and probably won't for some time. That's a good thing but again, I wouldn't expect the first few DLC released to be the expectation for ESO's future packs. I still wouldn't buy ESO DLC for more than $15 unless it was really something special. I just don't see these DLC packs being able to offer that kind of value.

I think DLCs will be cheaper than $25. Stuff like mounts or motifs are for style or convenience, while DLCs (as I understand it) add real conent. Interest in new content will probably be much higher than in mounts, etc.. And ZOS certainly wants to make it accessable to everyone. So, in this case I'd say: Cheaper price for more sales.

I think they are trying to suck everyone dry of their crowns so they have to sub for the additional content.

Imperial City is going to cost you $25. It's not going to cost me anything, or any other DLC for that matter, because I'm a subscriber.
