Why so broken?

I love this game I really do but gods damn it is broken. I have submitted more bug reports since launch for E.S.O than every other game I have played combined and that includes alphas and betas. Now I can live with small things like graphics glitches and what not but the amount of times that main story line quests have bugged out and prevented me from proceeding any further is ridiculous. The worst part about main quest glitches is that it often takes a few days to see a hot fix, so that is days that people can't proceed in the main story of either their faction or character.

I have just encountered the bug in the Lifting the Veil quest line where it gets stuck on the Drink... part of the quest, there was half a dozen people standing there with me visibly experiencing the same problem so I googled it and found a couple of threads already complaining about the same issue. This bug prevents people from advancing in the AD quest line until a fix it rolled out. Personally playing through these AD quests was the whole point of me making this character on which I now have squat all to do on until a fix is rolled out and given that I was very much enjoying the story this is extremely irritating.

I wouldn't be so annoyed if this was just a one off, rare occurrence but it isn't, stuff like this happens so regularly that is pretty much expected to get jammed up several times on a broken quests during leveling. There are endless threads (including my own) about the broken quest and issues with Cyrodiil stability, issues that have been going on since Beta.

It hasn't even been a week since I have been back to the game and already I have logged bug reports about falling through the world, UI pointers getting stuck, Cyrodiil still being broken (it is why I stopped playing in the first place) and now stalled progression due to a broken faction quest.

Now I know bugs happen, I know things pop up, I really am very understanding of this but with E.S.O it seems that really important stuff breaks all the freaking time and takes days to get a fix.

Going free to play, offering welcome back weekends, none of this is going to do a damn thing to save this game if the bloody thing is constantly broken.

That part of the quest was even a problem in Beta.

so prior to creating this thread, did you
    1. report a bug
    2. contact support
    3. follow any steps support offered

Not trying to rude but sharing your frustration is fine...but complaining and not doing anything about it is not going to improve your experience

Always do all these things when I encounter a new bug, isn't just this specific bug that I am complaining about here, the purpose of this post is to point out my frustration at continually encountering these progression stalling, play preventing issues

That is exactly what I asked on my second day back in the game when I went into Cyrodiil and discovered that same stability issues were still happening 1 year in.

I'm thoroughly interested in the feedback once the console versions are released. Whether or not some of these lingering quest bugs are cleaned up.Equally if they are cleaned up if we get a big ole quest related patch. They've done a good job correcting them as we report so far so I'm hopeful.

They need to have them cleaned up for console. Console gamers are even harsher than PC gamers in the sense that they won't bother with forums, they will just stop playing.

That they are it is going to be hard enough getting my mates and what into this. It will take a handful of bugs and boom so yar that is the attitude of console gamers.
