As stated in title, I need some assistance in leveling up. Seems difficult to find dungeon groups (maybe I'm doing it wrong?) Finished Fighter's Guild quests. Just started Mage's Guild quests, hoping that would help some.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You must have missed a lot of stuff then because last week when I first entered cold harbor I was halfway to 49. Did you complete everything in each zone leading up to cold harbor like doing all of the delves, public dungeons and dolmens because you must have missed something to be that low level

You saying that you completed all zones?
I'm a bit surprised by it. I recently did my first walk to 50 and never had an issue with being under levelled. What do you exactly mean with that you completed all zones. I did the following:

    All quests
    All dolmen
    All delves
    All public dungeons
    All skyshards
    All lore books

(for the dolmen and public dungeons I needed to do them in the evening, but never needed to actually make a group. Just did them with whoever was doing it too).

I was constantly slightly ahead of my level.
As I did the books, I also did the mages guild quest line, but that should be such a big gap.
The skyshards and books don't contribute to the level, but they do give other advantages and helps a lot in finding quests you otherwise would miss. Also make sure, you check the map that all is "discovered" (except the group dungeon). If a farm of town has the darker undiscovered icon, there is still a quests to do near it.
Through me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.

If a player is meant to complete all of the above listed objectives, then yes I would have missed items in each zone. Didn't think I needed to scape up every last drop from each zone to keep up with the level. Guess I'll have to go back and start from the beginning.

Since completing the first zone, mobs have always been 2 - 3 levels higher than me. Thanks for the advice.

If you're level 42 and you're hitting a level 48 questline in Coldharbour then you've missed a lot of stuff along the way. Doing all of the quests and discovering all of the locations in all of the zones, even if I skip completing a bunch of the dolmens, group dungeons, and world bosses, I've always ended up at VR1 before I've completed even 1/3 of Coldharbour - and I've gotten to that point 5 times now.

I'd recommend getting the Undiscovered addon, and going back to see what you missed in the previous zones. Unfortunately you've now out-leveled a huge chunk of it, but you'll still get exploration XP for discovering the locations you missed, completion XP for the first time you kill a given world boss, and quest XP for doing the quests you missed. You won't get XP or loot for any enemies you face that are more than 5 levels below you, though.

It's weird. I wasn't rushing and never felt like I was behind. Part of the problem may be the extremely low difficulty of solo-PVE. Although the mobs have consistently been 2 - 3 levels higher than me, I started 2 - 3 shotting them since lvl 20ish.

You probably weren't doing much exploring though, and just following the main storyline for your faction. If you don't explore in this game you'll miss a whole bunch of content. It probably wouldn't be until you hit the Cadwell's Silver zones that you would start to really feel like you being under-leveled was causing you significant problems, though. Up until then it's not that difficult to do content 5 levels or so above you.

Do you mean you JUST got to Cold Harbour and are level 48? If so.. there are lower level quests in Cold harbour. If not.. see above ^.

No. Actually got to the lvl 48 Cold Harbour questline when I was lvl 41 yesterday. Dinged 42 overnight after finishing a few Mage's Guild quests. I'll happily send screenshots of my maps once I get home tonight, but I don't feel like I missed/skipped that much content. At least not enough to cause a 7 level gap...

I was unaware they had PVE quests in Cyrodiil. Thanks for the recommendation!

You should join a guild to help with finding a group for quests and dungeons. I am part of a small but fast growing guild (around 60 players, with a lot of them around your level, plus many vets and master crafters to help with advice and gear). Hit me up in game ( @deadlock007 ) if you are interested.

That would be extremely helpful. I'll be in touch later tonight, thank you.

You are very welcome, I should be on between 5PM to around 12AM EST. Also, we have mumble, just in case you want to download it.
