Not technically "forever" gone, as you could always create a new character and do the quests again.and guess what? once a trophy's deleted, it's FOREVER GONE. can't re-do the quest. can't recover. nothing.

But yes, I agree that it would be very nice if they didn't take up inventory space.
It's not that easy to make this change exactly because of the effects that the trophies have if you quickslot them and use them (which trophy summons 3 mummies? I want to use that one!).Yes, a million times yes.
COME ON, it's so easy to do this change. i want to keep my trophies but i dont want to waste bank space.

all that hard work creating these cool trophies (one summons 3 mummies, or make me angry and next attack add fire damage, or bear traps, etc...) they're all WASTED coz people (a) don't know what to do with them, (b) don't have the space, (c) both.

ZOS would have to do more coding to allow items from a trophy tab in the Collections to be selected for placement in a quickslot. The fact that quickslots point to items in your inventory, and the idea behind this is to not have the trophy in your inventory complicates it.
Having said that, it's by no means impossible, and I definitely think it should be done. It's just not quite as simple from a coding perspective as I think most people would think.
Are they still? They used to be, but I thought with the addition of collections they stopped being something that could be quick slotted, and just ended up a toggle selected in the collections tab, like a horse is, or a costume.rajaniemiorama_ESO wrote: »It's not that easy to make this change exactly because of the effects that the trophies have if you quickslot them and use them (which trophy summons 3 mummies? Pets are quick slotted.

Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
