Forum Idea-Edit Post Function

The one thing I would really love in a forum is an edit post function. There are many times I accidentally make a tyop, or when I want to edit a post and add/remove information. Sadly, I'm unable to do that.

There is an edit function.

Upper right hand corner.

There is one (though it's easy to miss). Go to the little Dwemer cog looking thing in the top right corner (Options) and there is an "Edit" option.

I wish you wouldn't have to hover over your post just to see it. It would be much easier to notice if it was always there.

Yeah, it took me a while to find it too. They don't exactly make it obvious.

Do you use an Iphone? I recall seeing awhile ago someone saying they couldn't do it on an iphone. As an android user myself, you just need to tap somewhere on the post (like, where the words actually are) and it makes the edit cog, along with the voting options (awesome, insightful, agree) show up, and be able to be clicked. I also use "show desktop version" though.

[EDIT] Oh, and to the OP, don't feel bad. Last time they changed the forums I asked too, well, for the initial post. For the initial post the cog is actually at the top - to the right of the thread title. Rather than in the top right corner of your post.[/quote]

Nope, using a note 3 android, and I am not smart enough for a smartphone.
