Finding more DoTs for Valkyn Skoria. Weapon Enchants?

I'm doing a med armor, stamina based 1h shield and 2h dragon knight. I'm trying to maximize my DoT potential to proc valkyn skoria set bonus, and I'm trying to find a weapon enchant for my build. We have glyphs that do poison damage, disease damage, fire damage.... but are any of them actual DoTs?

Thanks

I've been using Valkyn's since November. It will process the weapon enchants that you cited. In fact, it procs for anything with a timer like Blazing Shield.
Stanko: Ebonheart Pact, CP 3600, Templar, Former Emperor on Azura's, Arena Gladiator, Flawless Conqueror, Spirit Slayer, Grand Overlord, Paragon, and of course Merciless.

Does that mean that it procs for Sorc's Curse, too? I heard that it didn't but I still haven't got the shoulders to drop yet

curse is only 1 time a Hit, it doesnt, If you put on curse has a timer, but there are no ticks, only 1 hit when it goes off.

use caltrops, one of the best dots for Stam builds, Fire Breath, Unstable flame. Also Scortched earth does proc it, however, very low dmg from caltrops :/

@Alcast yeah but that's the same as Blazing Shield then, which @Stanko says will proc the set. That's why I was wondering.

With the cooldown now in force, hunting any further DoTs to the detriment of any other build consideration is a poor trade-off.

I use a poison glyph on my weapon. It procs a poison dot, and since Crushing shock is almost guaranteed to proc burning I don't need a fire glyph.

I really wish they would make a spell damage glyph for weapons just like have for weapons damage.

I thought it was a fix to proc %. What is the cooldown?

Cooldown is 5 seconds, per the patch notes.

As far as I know nothing changed as far as single-target damage with this set, but it can no longer ignore the global cooldown when proccing on multiple enemies so you won't see those chain meteors coming from the same person anymore.

At least that is what we were told.
