im starting to get realy tired of the Cc spamming from anything that aint a player. you cant "dodge" it, and half of the time that guitar hero button mashing combo dont break it or there is a seriously buggy respond time for it to read that " hey be played the right combo". if there is more then 3 humaniod. then I spending 2/3 of the battle on my knee waiting for ether the time to run out, or stamina to return. any WHY, most breaking Cc cost stamina, at the moment its costing 40% stamina to break one cc hold.. this makes it stupidly hard for a stamina user to do anything.

cyqa✭✭✭Can you clarify what you mean by, "guitar hero button mashing combo"? - I've never had to do anything like this to combat crowd control.
I like the CC in this game because it can add a bit of a challenge. I like to think critically of what skills I will use for any situation. For the record, I am a stamina build and with proper stamina management and pots/glyphs, I don't find myself having to wait for my stamina to regenerate unless I'm being sloppy.
Maybe if you experiment with your build, you might find another set up that works better for you?

and by guitar hero bottom mashing, its the whole idea with hit key combo the right way. the only games where such key tapping was good was the like the guitar hero type games.0 -

cyqa✭✭✭I play on a gaming laptop and sometimes I don't have a mouse. My interrupt wasn't working to the default "right +left" combo on my trackpad- so what I did was map my interrupt to a different key - it works every time now. Maybe you can try doing this?1

You don't even have to be out.. just not have enough to complete the task. not sure if an add-on does this for more.. but when I try to use and ability that I don't have enough resources to do.. my stam/magicka bar flashes. that is sadly one of the problems, starting an attack, and then have 40% of your stamina taken away from you becorse of Cc breaking. I am watching my stamina the best I can, and it is alot in my mind to have 40% reserved just to be able to break a Cc' im trying to run with food and drink buffs. both recovery and the increased amount. and so fare the recovery rate might be the best . I made a key bind to help me break the Cc. but I still find it bloody annoying how you can be chain hit. and the cooldown on potions is not helping right there xD0 -

Are you melee? Personally unless the CC is doing some darn good damage to me.. I just leave it be and range attack. Seems to be better than bothering to fight it.

I changed my Bash key to the Q button (and moved Quickslot to the 7 key as I was using a potion just about every time I walked anywhere). My Ultimate is the 6 key.
One poster mentioned binding Bash to the scroll wheel on the mouse as it has a fast response that way. I have not tried it there myself.

I have a second bind for my Break Free as Mouse Button 4. (It's the same bind as Interrupt BTW)
Works 1000 times better then R+L.
I've also seen people bind it to space.. but I couldn't make myself do that as having jump anywhere else was too painful. Old habits I guess....0 -

I am melee 2H and bow. and standing in a Cc' is in general bad, sens there will be some ranged that will place a nice red circle on you and have you dead in 3 sec.typical its the bow and magica mob combo thats killing me. always some melee mob that jumps in me face, while you get the first magica attack and your usealy down around to 50%hp there so popping a potion. so moveing around to deal with the magica user first sens you cant a avoid there dmg. ( with melee there is that nice teller mark that " hey im charging my lazers" heavy attack ) but nothing with magica.
and its offen around that time that the first Cc' hits , breaking it now -40% stamina. and keep the fighting. then one ranged and maybe one more is down, bang second cc' hits, now haveing under 40% from the fighting dealing with the ranged. im stucked and cant get out, while what ever thats melee are just beating away on me, and my potion are still on cooldown. so no stamina potion to pop and break free. what realy baffels me is magica bar uses skills based abilitys only.. Stamina uses Skills, dodge roll, breaking CC' and roots. and blocking. and sens breaking dont have a fixd cost, but is based on your total stamina
How about breaking should not go over stamina, but have its own separate resource instead ?Edited by Thefox on April 16, 2015 12:12PM0
