Can someone email me the console beta survey?

Edit: I'm rescinding this request due to the fact that the beta survey emails contain personal information relating to each person's individual ESO account. I would just delete this thread, but I can't unfortunately.

This is kind of an awkward request. I submited a help ticket in regards to not receiving the console beta survey email and now they want to know if I can have a friend forward me one of theirs so I can then forward it to them, so they can determine if I'm suppose to receive the survey. That being the case, anyone willing to help out can PM me and I'll reply back with my email address.

Thanks

Thanks for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited.

I apologize that we have been slow to respond to your query about participation in a Console Beta.

Can you get one of your friends to send you the 'console beta survey email' and then pass that on to me please?

I will then do my best to check if you should receive such an email from us.

I look forward to your reply.

Kind regards,
Ruairi,
The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited Team

Yeah, it's a little frustrating, isn't it? Hopefully we're not left out of the beta as a result.

Oh that's not something im gonna put up with, if they cause an issue that forces people to miss out on beta aka demoing it.

    Important

Please, do not do this. You need to tell the support to get their act together, this is NOT an acceptable way of doing it. I'm in no way accusing you personally of anything as I know support have asked people to do some questionable things in the past.

The ESO TU Beta email contains a personalised link that is connected to your email address and may or may not (have not investigated, but this is unacceptable practice) contain personal information among other things. It all depends how they have it connected in the back end, but the link is clearly tied to your email address in some way.

I would respond to support and tell them to find out what their own emails look like without forcing you to obtain someone elses personal emails.

@Pppontus Good point. I edited a note into the top of the original comment to dissuade people from this. Thanks!

I'm actually legitimately surprised at some of the things the support ask of users. There was another thread a while back where they told people to do changes to their firewall without even explaining what it was they were asked to do and what the implications could be.

I appreciate they can't know about everything, but they sure are gambling with their users privacy/security sometimes..
