Templar Archer help :)

WelshySnow
Hi guys,

So I am a returning player and wanted to pick up a completely different build rather than my Destruction staff build i had before leaving the game. :) I have chosen to come back and pick up a Bow as a Templar and see where this goes... My question is can anyone help me with a build with what kinda of skills to use? :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

figure it out by yourself. Bow is easiest to make.

Javelin and jabs will be clutch For stamina morphs or magicka dump cc. I am assuming you are going stamina dps. Also solar flare morph called solar barrage will boost weapon damage next attack. Get all passives in dawns wrath and aedric spear asap as there are some that boost weapon abilities.

why would you open with solar flare instead of snipe? losing the from stealth hit on snipe to land solar flare first would be a drop in damage.

only thing i'd use from templar on my stam templar is repentance and a jabs if they get close for a heal .. rest weapon skills.

Thank you very much everyone for the positive comments as it can be quiet daunting for a returning player! :)

    For gear I highly recommend:

5 Hundings (4 pieces of armor and bow)
And 5 hawk's eye (2 rings and 3 armor pieces)
The extra jewel is up to you.

With Rally 2 handed ability up you can get like 2.5k weapon damage (if not more) with bow plus 28k stamina if you enchant all gear with it.

Maybe easier to get and cheaper than Thomas post before this one. Morag/Hawk/Master depends on luck and a ton of money.

    That's my 2 cents.

Thanks you :) What's your attributes like? I have seen many builds where people put most of their points in health?

If by any chance yours is an Imperial Templar, you should go full stamina attributes.

If not you should take notice about pvp buffs, if your faction have a permanent buff server and work from there.

The Paradigm used to be, during Leveling put all points into Health, and use Glyphs to give you Magic or Stamina. However with the recent changes to the game, you really need more Mana or Stamina than what Glyphs alone can provide. So, now people tend to go all in with Magic or Stamina (glyphs and attributes). Although I still tend to put 10 or so points into Health on my VR characters.

Maybe during Leveling, you can still do the all Attributes into Health with Glyphs for the other resources. But that would also depend on how many Champion Points you have to allocate to your leveling character.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
