Pricing Question

So, after getting the ability to craft a very large amount of items in both blacksmithing and woodworking, I'm starting to advertise for custom made orders, all levels, almost every racial style, large amounts of traits, etc. Receiving a good amount of orders and starting to make a decent profit. However, I'm having issues figuring out fair prices that are both profitable to me and won't cost an arm and a leg for someone.

Any idea as to what I can do to figure out this issue? Any addons someone would recommend?

The fairest way to price is to add together the material costs for making the item and then charge a service fee of some percentage of the material costs. So, you'd charge maybe 120% of the material costs or some such, with that extra 20% being your service fee.

As for how to find prices for these materials... If you're in a few very active merchant guilds, an addon like DataDaedra or Master Merchant could help. They will be all but useless if you're not, however. Barring that, I'd recommend taking some time and exploring some shops, getting a good feel for the prices of some of the materials out there that you're likely to be using.

The biggest issue are the Tempers and the travel time to the Crafting Stations. Travel Time may or may not be an issue, but replacement costs of the Tempers are.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
