Help picking a good PvP instance - Daggerfall Covenant

Now that I am VR12 and have refined my build for PvP, i'm looking for a good instance to call home. I'm a Daggerfall Covenant player and I would prefer an instance which is fairly balanced where DC is active and competitive. Can anyone offer good advice on what instance I should choose?

Thanks in advance.

Chillrend is pretty balanced, though usually AD and DC are the only two dominant factions.

DC in PVP in the under dog. We have less PVP players then the other two factions, so MOST campaigns we own very little.

When one faction gets completely owned, and therefore zero pvp except camping the gate, they get bored and all port to another campaign. So one zerg will take a whole campaign and then just move to the next and so on.

Chillrend is the most balanced for DC (where sometimes we own a third) but there are times we own nothing on all vet campaigns and this will always be the way when zergs can swap campaigns when they want to. There is no point in the campaign 'lock out' as port to player gets past that.

This is a handy site to keep track of the current state of each campaign.

Anyone have feedback on Azura's star, as I prefer 30 day campaigns ideally?

Chillrend or Azura's star are ok picks, they go up and down (one day we own a good piece, next day none)

All depends when the zerg moves to, as you can PVP in any campaign when you port to a player, so whole zergs get up and move campaigns when they own all of there campaign

What!?! I thought you could only enter your regular or guest campaigns. That seems ridiculous. Please tell me you can't gain AR while in a campaign which is not your home or guest.

You get AP and can increase in rank but it does not go towards your push for emperor. But the large zerg's are most ex-emperors just farming AP for PVP levels (which give skill points) or to use the AP to buy PVP bags for loot.

But you can only get Emperor on your home campaigns, guest campaign means nothing and no point assigning it as you can port to any campaign anyway if you know one player in there. You can even port to campaigns that you have a toon in but on the other faction!

EU or NA?, I am assuming you are on the NA server, as on EU, atm, Azuras is DC buff campaign, and regular action on there.

The problem is that ESO has the worst possible number of campaigns at the moment, EITHER MORE OR LESS would be better.

    Allow me to explain.

AD and EP have enough population to BOTH maintain a buff server and be competitive on a balanced server. DC does not.

If there were fewer servers, (2 total for example) then the higher population numbers of EP and AD wouldn't matter because the bulk of their population would simply be pop-locked out. This would balance the campaigns.

But it's not going to happen because 1) People don't want to be pop-locked, and 2) Zos servers can't handle a three-way pop-locked server without severe performance problems.

On the other hand, if there were more servers then each faction could maintain a "buff server" and there would be no need to "occasionally" fight over them as we do now.

The current system creates an environment for Zerg Hopping as is described above. It's a bit of a nightmare for regular players that aren't "farming AP" and "farming emperors".

Hehe no worries, thanks for clarifying.

Not sure how things are on NA, but hope you get something sorted
