ZOS, please throw us a bone: new content.

At launch, you touted an ideal schedule of new content releases every 2 months or so. This turned out to be unrealistic. Frankly, not too many players were surprised or butthurt about this development. Since the release of Upper Craglorn and Sanctum Ophidia, your players have been starving for something new to do. Undaunted dailies, crafting writs, the champion system, and the justice system hardly count as new content. These elements certainly add some depth to the game and certainly flesh out various aspects of the game; they are much appreciated.

According to you all, we won't be seeing new content until "after the console release has settled down." Most players I've spoken with estimate that new content, i.e. Imperial City, won't be available until August. What are we to do for the next four months? Trials are passe. Many talented players have reduced the most difficult group content to farm status. PvP still suffers from lag and no new content since release. So, what are we to do? What are you to do?

My suggestion is very simple, and shouldn't require too much work. Just give us a new Veteran Dungeon or two. There is so much room here to provide new challenges to players yet this requires minimal manpower on your end. Look at Banished Cells or Darkshade Caverns. Upping the difficulty on a few bosses and adding a few new areas added a whole new feel to these areas.

Sure, we would love to see the Imperial City or Orsinium sooner than forecasted, but it seems that it's not going to happen. Throw us a bone here - give us something to do. Give us another Undaunted set to work towards. Add a little variety to the pledge rotation. Sure, a new dungeon or two isn't ideal, but it's better than nothing. Show us you care. Please?

The console version was and is the most important thing right now. 100 percent of all resources have to flow into that. We PCplayers have to understand that the consoles are the most important things for us! We dont deserve new content before the consoles.

I'd just be happy of knowing a timeline of when we can expect things. Nobody really knows what's being worked on, what the first DLC is, what to get. I'd be ecstatic just to know "Okay, so in June, console launches and the first expected DLC is ________, followed by _________."

We know a lot of things are in the works, but we don't know what order, when (or what?) their priorities are. For example, will the rest of the Justice System be implemented before console goes live?

They could add huge amount of play time just by making all delves replayable by making them scalable instances to our level.

Or, you know, maybe that shouldn't happen at the expense of PC players who have already been paying a sub for over a year. Why should paying PC players be paying for console launch and getting no new content for 8+ months?

If it isn't just don't play until it is. They get the call on when something releases. And you the player get the call on if they make money or not.

Real talk, why are they even releasing this game for consoles?

I doubt it will play well on the console, and I have even more doubt anyone will actually buy it, especially years after it was announced for consoles.
They could add huge amount of play time just by making all delves replayable by making them scalable instances to our level.

I almost wish I chose a different alliance just so I could do vet content in my current home alliance, instead of being way outleveled for everything.

Oh people will buy it on consoles. The series might be better on PC but most sales come from console sales as far as I know.
I don't think console retention is going to be big though unless the action is amazing due to all the add-ons and managment stuff PC has that console will most likely lack.

I would just cancel the sub if you don't like the game right now. We don't have to pay to play, its free - so I believe demanding things isn't what we should do.

In my opinion, no content is better than paying 15 bucks a month for yet another trial or dungeon. I wouldn't mind if ZOS actually works on the important stuff now like a real housing system, spell weaving etc. and lets the silly "new dungeon every month" rest in peace and the gives us what we really want towards the end of the year.

    Ok, my guess...

They release the console, make a bunch of $$$$. Then, when sales level off, they use the money and build the largest update yet.

    That's my prediction.

I will vote with my wallet. I'm not quite at the point of doing that but it could be soon. I'm on a 3 month sub atm but I may not renew when it's up. If there was another MMO out now that had any interest I would probably be playing that tbh but there isn't. I'm also more casual in MMOs than I used to be so I can keep myself occupied in ESO fairly easily but that doesn't mean I can't see the real problems going on.

This is exactly the sort of F2P sentiment that is killing MMOs. Oh well it's free so you can't expect much! Oh well it's free so you can't complain! Oh well it's free so don't expect any new content! It's free so just stop playing and come back later when it improves! Or even better..I only play 3 hours per week so I don't need new content and I'm happy with what is there so don't want to pay a sub for more content that I personally won't ever get to (so screw the rest of you who play more). How any of that equates to a good MMO philosophy and why anyone would think those are positives I have no clue.

Must admit the whole 'no content' thing has me confused. Admittedly a console launch is no small thing, but to ignore your primary player base for it? Seems counter-intuitive. Especially when you've just grown that base substantially by going buy to play.

No we should expect whatever we expect. Expectations usually fall short but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have standards.

The reality of the situation is that F2P can make just as much money as P2P. The issue is that F2P don't have a steady income like P2P mmo does. One month the F2P might be pooping gold then 3 months later not even pooping coals. This hesitation on investment is what causes content to come slower.

They need to be transparent with their dlc/expansions and what revenue they are aiming for to create deep interesting content. So that way if the players want content faster, they can buy their way there by reaching the quota. Sort of like a kickstarter but not really? If no one buys in there then I guess no one cares about content as much as they say they do?

It is pretty sad that we haven't had any new actual playable content pieces added to the game since November. I have a couple alts that are taking forever to level up from v12 to 14 because there is nothing to do (a little group content like dailies or arena, but I obviously have to wait for others to play with so it's not something I can work at when I have time to play alone).
