alchemy writs at cap?

daisy.spit_ESO
My alchemist is lvl 50 in alchemy. Is it worth it to keep doing writs for extra mats? Also, would it be worth it to start all my alts on alchemy as well? Thanks in advance for advice.

The 10% chance of doubling a pull does not work on the lush resource nodes. At least at the moment. (course the 10% double does not work on blacksmith, woodworker, or clothing survey nodes either.)
Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

I think it is, I do Alchemy writs on 4 characters every day, Provisioning also. It's easy as you can just make batches up of the needed items with your main crafter and just have them in the bank for all to use.

I agree that it's worth it, as you always get more materials than what you put into it. You also get a little exp, some inspiration, as well as gold. Once my character level reached 9 (or 10), the money I received from the writ easily paid for my horse riding training.

As mentioned above, your main crafter can make the potions in quantity, with the appropriate perk, and store them in the bank for your alts. Thus, these writs take very little time/resources to do, and your rewards are always worth it - a net of 2 waters, 3 of two types of herbs, and, more often than the other writs (in my experience), a survey. In fact, it's rare that I don't get a survey in my alchemy reward.

Yes, do the crafting writs, you get more back than you put in. If you figure in the cost of the Reagents you get, plus the Gold from the Writ itself, they are a money maker.

As stated above, I actually make about 2 potions a week (since I get 4 each time I make one) so the time invested is small. It's even smaller if you pick up the writ one day, but don't fill it until the next, then you can do two writs in a day. The only trick is, you have to pull the writs once a day. This makes more sense if you have a few alts doing the writs.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Alchemy writs are easy - you'll only be asked to make three types so just make a batch and store them in your bank, along with some water and some nirnroot. Now fulfilling the writ is just a visit to the bank!

    Job done:)

Easy 600 gold, plus raw mats, plus the chance for surveys where you generally get some of the good stuff...

I am usually have alchemy surveys all the time when I do the writ, so it i worth it for me. Usually survey gives you at least one lush with columbine or bugloss and this is worst case scenario. Usually I have 3-4 stacks of 2 bugloss or columbine. I am not counting mountain flower. So it is worth it.
