On my Screen (32 inch) , The letters where about a inch high. 2 lines, and about 17 inches long in the center of my screen. Totally breaking immersion.

They Need to Go the Route of Star Trek Online. And just Spam this in the Center of your Screen Every single time someone Buys something from The Store. (Forces impulse buys after all! if someone else has it, why don't you buy it as well!)

I never even saw this in FE after it went f2p. They did have a big button, though.
Yesterday I was busy doing my Z-thing and saw Yellow Text post up on my screen. I was like, WTF? Don't be doing that, Z.

Honestly, with free games it's less of an issue. I mean, you haven't given the developers any money simply by playing the game, so they might as well goad you occasionally and say, "hey, remember us? Remember this thing you're enjoying? You want to toss us some cash for some neat stuff?"

On the other end of the spectrum you've got the "free" games where the devs throw less and less subtle road blocks out there to annoy you and then keep showing up with their hand out.

But... ESO isn't a free game. Everyone who's playing has spent real money to participate. Which makes advertising in game seem really tacky.

Is this something happening only for the people not in ESO+ or is it everyone? I haven't noticed it happen to me ever, but I also pay a sub. Does that affect it?

They are trying to push the crown store more because no one is buying much.. Probably because for "cosmetic and convenience" there isnt much to choose from. I know im still sitting on my crowns I got from the conversion because there is NOTHING of interest.

They are losing money because it was poorly planned with a limited amount of items and not enough being added. I would love to give them money, but nothing in the crown store is worth spending money on.

I am a non-stop subscriber from pre-launch and it happened on my screen, membership status was not a factor in who received the spam.
