Addition of “Folium Discognitum” from uncle Sheo to the Crown Store.

What you think about the idea to add “Folium Discognitum” from uncle Sheo to the Crown Store. Is it enough crazy to be implemented?

I think that it will be good idea to add for role player ability to accept all in game content. I didn’t let Valaste to come with uncle Sheo because it is the same as not helping addict to avoid drugs because they are happy with drugs. So I declined Shegorath proposition. But I think that Bethesda must give everyone ability to accept all in game content, not dependable from their moral choice, especially positive choice. And it will be fair to add “Folium Discognitum” to the Crown Store which can be bought when player saves Valaste and reaches V1 level.

I don't think it would break balance but essentially buying skillpoints for RL $ is not cool with me. IF you want to complete alternate endings to stories that's what alts are for.

No. Make your choice and deal with the outcome.
You want the book, give up the girl. It's meant to be a temptation - not one you can buy your way out of.

Incidentally, OP, you might want to add Spoiler tags to your text and Spoiler indication in your thread title for those that have not yet been there.

Only if you can only ever buy one... Alas they nerfed it being able to be put in the bank and used by another alt. (which i did do once just to see if you could)

I shouldn't read these polls. Makes me want to answer harshly, which is not allowed by CoC and the political correctness fallacy.

    I choose option 4:

No, this should never be on the store. That would destroy the only meaningful decision that we have in this whole game.

Please... no storys in the crownstore.

The "Folium discognitum" is the special price for the choice of that quest. You can choose it... or not. That's your choice.

I don't want to see this book in the crownstore, just because some players haven't choose it.

As @Jroc said, everybody can have the alternate ending with an alt.

And yes, it would be breaking the game balance when you could buy skillpoints in the crownstore.

@Dekkameron , not a nerf - should have never been an option in the first place. Should be character bound, just like Undaunted keys.

@Keron, absolutely. It's one of the few truly intricate and immersive quest points in the entire game.

So many other red choices seem like they should affect things down the line, but other than the occasional visual or audible, they don't matter one bit.

    This one actually did.

Yeah, pretty much this. Also, as @Keron says, this is currently one of the only quest choices in the game where there is a meaningful difference to your character based on which option you choose (maybe the only one? I can't think of others off the top of my head). I don't want to see that diluted by letting people buy their way to the option that is better for making your character more powerful. I would like to see more meaningful choices like this in the game, I wouldn't like to see meaningful choices made meaningless.

Didn't vote. Just simply don't want it in the store. It's the only quest with an actual impact ( however minor) on your character, and it should remain as impactfull.

"This can break game balance" is maybe a bit hyperbolic, but this:

I did vote, and I agree, it's the only choice I can think of that means something in the game. I think most of us don't want to go down the road of buying skill points, etc, no matter how innocent it starts out.

I think Folium Discognitum is like rare Motif. You can create excellent PVP/PVE build even with 50 skill points as you can wear only our racial armor, but you can also improve all skills in the tree.

It doesn't matter because you can only use one armor type in the same time(efficient) and 10 skils + 2 ultimate. For this it is enough even 50 skill points, but crafters need 100 more skill points.

Don't think it should be in the store, don't think it should be in the base game either.

Sorry, I'm always going to choose the skyshard, and I find that immersion breaking because my choice is not based on what I would do in that situation but what is best for my character.

I'm not going to make self-sacrifices for a fictional character in a fictional plot, ramble about meaningful choices as much as you want.

I believe that red choices affecting the storyline of other quests down the line would give the game more replay value and make it more interesting. However, I don't want my build to suffer just because of these (often ambiguous) choices.

ONE item wouldn't actually break game balance, but the base idea would be that they are allowing you to purchase skill points, which is not cool. If you're a role player and you choose not to get the book.. how do you explain your character suddenly now having it?

This poll is ridiculous.. As most the others crownstore item request thread. It sickens and disgusts me that every 2nd thread in this forum is about the crownstore now.

At this point, in all seriousness, something is really wrong. When a cash shop is more important to the community than the game itself. I dont know what else to say. Besides being disgusted and disappointed about this developement.
