I did sorta like the mercantile and speechcraft from the single player games, but in this setting, I think it would be exploited big time and the ingame economy would be trashed.

The best trading community in a MMO was based exactly off this mechanic a few thing like no item repairs, you have to buy new gear when your old stuff breaks so the market doesn't go stagnant and the best gear in game would come from crafting too.
Zos, please add mercantilism and speechcraft skill lines. I hate how speechcraft skills are in Mage and fighters guild and are effortless to obtain! Persuade and intimidate should Take effort and the shortcuts they provide should be earned!
A master in mercantilism should be able to open a shop. The shop as a solo player should be different from guild trades in that you can only sell one kind of item like npc sellers! This would be amazing and allow people to pursue other goals!
And no one would be able to spend points in intimidate and persuade untill they have completed pve and will not have any use for it?
