Why don't superior items count for crafting writs?

Today my enchanting crafting writ asked for a Monumental Glyph of Health.
I didn't have any Ta in the bank so I just used a Denata aspect rune to keep me from having to log on an alt.
But the quest didn't update like it usually does. So I logged on my mule, put a Ta rune in the bank, then switched back and crafted the same glyph (except white quality of course). Only then did the quest update.
This makes no sense...

✭✭Crafting writs for enchanting is always white, always.
It makes sense, although to be fair, when I first started doing enchanting writs, I done the same thing, suppose technically it would ask for a green or blue kind of item but it doesn`t hehe.Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

OK, so I wasn't just bugged. Thanks for confirming that.
If that is the case then the quest text needs to be updated to make clear that only normal quality items will count towards the quest. Although it would make a lot more sense to let any quality count.0 -
