Champoints Question - Is there a limit to the shared pool of CP?

Is there a limit to the shared pool of Champion Pionts?

I understand that each character get 5 cp per level, leading to v14 having max of 70 but is there a limit on how that is shared to your other characters?

For example if I have 10 v14 characters that total in 70x10= 700 Champoin points do they all get 700?
This seems op such a share so I have a feeling im wrong?

It is 400k XP or 100k XP if you are enlightened for each CP and it is 1 million XP per VR so it isn't necessarily 70 CP for each VR14 toon levelled. They just gave 1 CP per 200k XP earned prior to conversion over to the CP system.

To answer your question there is a cap of 3600 CPs and there is no limit on how many points that can be earned on any character. So once you hit VR14 on a character you can continue to earn XP and CP on that character.

Max is 3600 Champion Points - don't forget though that there are significant diminishing returns on investments.

I believe that the 70 point max was just what we were allowed to earn up to before the implementation of the Champion system.

:O 3600??? So are you saying now that 70 limit is lifted? at v14 can go past that?

And it will contribute to the shared pool of cp?

When the 1.6 goes live and only at this moment, there was a limit of 70cp maximum earned from previous xp on you characters. Then, all players was and still is able to earn xp and reach the 3600 max cp.

the maximum CP u can have on your account is 3600. any amount of CP you have can be used by any char... so if you have 100 points each toon you have can spend 100... then wen u gain 1 point each toon gains 1 point... so then u can spend 101 points on each toon u have

I think the op is on about the champion points given to people who earnt vet xp prior to the champ system going live, which was capped at 14 million xp across all your characters.

Any xp earnt now after 1.6 went live goes via the intended gain, which is 400k unenlighted or 100k with enlightenment.

How do the diminishing returns work?

First point on a star : +1%. Second point : +0,6%. Thirty point : +0,2% for most stars. Each additional point give a lower bonus, so character with a large amount of CP won't be mighty overpowered.
With more or less 1200 CP, you have nearly all the power the CP system will give to you.

Ha that is interesting, that now puts it all into perspective! I kinda like the idea of leveling your account.
Just wish they put it simpler the explanation of what cp is about.

Yes, that's a good way to look at it - leveling your account.
Some days I play one of my VR chars, knowing I will be helping all of my alts. Then I may play my lower level alts for a day or two, which builds enlightenment, so when I get back to my VR chars, they will earn cp faster for everyone.

Of course, the goal is to have fun.

yeah it be a bit much at first but once you have a VR character and start earning a few CPs it all starts make sense good luck to you
