The new crown shop items due to come out

Are they still planned for release today, 9th of april I believe it was said in announcements.

So far all I have seen though, is nothing but vanity pets I think.

Don't get me wrong, some of em would be cool to have. But the fact my scamp or whatever mean looking beast I got, will do nothing in a battle and it's only accomplishments, will be to ruin my immersion and frustrate me by being so useless ( no interaction as a pet whatsoever, also an issue).

Atleast allow them to be more interactive with the world and there owners, instead of the annoying money suckers they are. I mean c'mon zos, this is Elder scrolls, you can do better than this I am so sure.

I digress though, another thing I am pondering is, will there other new items?... good ones! Like some interesting lore friendly mounts, and costumes (that can possibly be dyed.

No more xp bonus this, boost that. Why loose so much faith in such a great experience ( it ain't all about getting to end game for everyone you know zos, especially when it's only like 20%complete, if that.)

Any thoughts?

I honestly don't care about pets. Only things I really need are more costumes and more character slots. I have the full eight alts (ie actors for my films) and I really need another two for my next project - a small male bosmer and a male argonian.

As long as they don't introduce anything that changes gameplay experience (already debatable since they've added potions, etc.) I'm all for variety. I'm vehemently opposed to them selling anything that turns this game into P2W, however.

P2W as in- gives players an "advantage" over others in competition in-game.

Things like account-enhancements, convenience items, etc I'm all for being available. Race/Name/class changes, etc would be good things to offer in the Crown Store.

Things like SP/XP/CP, Stat Boosts, etc. Would NOT be good things for them to introduce, as it would then mean people who have financial advantage IRL would then have in-game advantage as well.

ZOS being a business, it's difficult to have faith in this... as "money talks", but I'm hoping they really see the benefit in keeping it reined in and don't compromise here.

I checked the Crown Store (a little while ago) but no new items yet despite it being the 9th everywhere in the world other than 1 time zone at the time of writing this (which will be changed to everywhere in the world in 19 mins). I am guessing it will be updated around the time their maintenance would occur, so I guess we'll see then what will be added to the Crown Store then.

i really don't care about cosmetics and I find pets annoying. i've been playing the game since i preordered the imperial edition and i think i never even actived one of the pets for even one second.
i already lvoe the mounts i have. maybe i'd liek to turn of the bag on mounts but apart from that, i'm very happy in terms of cosmetics.

i would buy the *** out of stuff that changes gameplay (with as little p2w style as possible):
race change, (exp potions - don't really like the p2w style but would buy them for sure. time is money ;-) ), dlc areas, more bank slots, etc.

To each their own. I'd definitely buy new character slots, bank slots are not a bad idea, and also having "changes" to characters should be something there. However, I also like to see more diversity among mounts, pets, costumes, etc.. it is a good thing to have such choices whether you'd use them or not.

As far as P2W goes, I don't want to see those sort of items... I can understand some people would like to use cash to buy potions, etc..on the fly which is fine... XP boost meh isn't really P2W but that's about the end of the line before becoming P2W imo.

Now, if they added items EQUAL to those you can get in Trials, Dungeons, Cyrodiil, etc.. maybe with different looks but not better stats nor worse stats, it wouldn't really be P2W in my book. P2W would be making it so that you must buy these items in order to win and that you can't get them any other way. But this is a grey area, people's opinions of what is and what isn't P2W will most likely vary person to person.

I want the ability to go to a ESO Plus members only dungeon where we torture vanity pets whilst having our vanity pets torture other vanity pets. Making sure to not go over the Pegi rating of the game of course.
