Flesh atronach collectible - does it drop?

I farm flesh atronach for collectible in Malabal Tor. I do it :s now with 5th character. At levels 29-38 I do almost nothing but kill and kill theese creatures.
I also killed a lot while anchors hunting.

I killed at least 3600 flesh atronachs and that's a real henocide with no hope at all

Cause I just haven't got any single collectible from them. At all. Zero. Nothing.

Does flesh atronach drop even exist?

I'm moving from being frustrated and real angry and back.
And all "customer cupport" has nothing to say if drop system works as it planned or bugged.

So, have you got it and how long ago? Cause drop system definetly changed after 2.0

    I have given up on the Collectibles. I even used to try to find a character of mine who had not earned that particular one and give it to them. The drops are too rare and too infrequent to make this something to actively chase. Now if I get one, I try to use it on my current character, no joy it gets Vendored or Destroyed.

    To answer your question, I think I have the Flesh Atronach one, but I would have to load all my characters to see which one has it. But, none of them may have it.

    Yeah the collectibles are way to rare. Have them drop much more or be tradeable, preferably both.

    Or just have them be an account wide unlock in the collections page, and let is freakin' trade the unconsumed ones with other players. That'd work.

    I've collected most of items, but 6 are still missing.

    And the thing is that something changed with 1.6. I haven't got any single skeletons and zombies collectibles before and I had already 10 of first and 2 of second since patch.

    So, something is really broken and working wrong. And made me quit today right after the horses were fed.

    I play since beta and have never ever found a collectible of anything. Also never a purple motif (or yellow).

    My RNG is bad :'(

    I always get 1/# within the first few kills of something that has an achievement. Never made it to having 2 or more with any though. lol

    It's the stupid RNG and the low low chance of getting a collectible drop. I've got flesh and fire atronachs but no storm or frost, despite having killed many more of those on multiple characters and having specifically farmed them at times.

    I've basically given up on collectibles as well as fishing, because hunting those achievements makes for such boring gameplay. Still, just last week I got 2 collectibles in a row from Craglorn jackals and scorpions.

    Funny enough....I got 3 trophies in 1 day after TU dropped.
    I wonder if they reset the RNG counters or something.
    Never had anything since mind.
    Shouldnt be surprised I guess....what one hand giveth....the other taketh away.

    Don;t really understand the point of them as they take up space.

    You know that you have to use the item for it to count towards the achievement, right?

    You can use them and then they count in achievements.

    I also had 6-7 WW collectible drops.

    That makes me think RNG is totally broken cause my drop statistics is against statisics RNG laws (sorry for my English, I' not native speaker)

    They do. Makes a lovely keychain, too, I might add. I actually got mine from Vet Spindle, long after the Slayer achievement.

    If you go farming for collectibles, OP, honestly, you're gonna make yourself crazy.

    Just do what you'd normally do and they will occasionally drop. I think that's more along the lines of what they had in mind anyway.

    The fleshies do seems to be the most elusive, though - think it has to do with finding a complete one, due to all that second hand stitching and poor lighting...

    Farming for Kill X of this kind of monster is one thing, farming for those drops is a whole other.

    The trick to Fishing is to go with about 10 to 15 others (you can probably do this with 5 or so) and hit the Fishing Holes. I think Destinations can show you on your map where they are. Anyway, if you have a bunch of people, then the Achievement Fish are quite commonly caught. Our Guild has a Fishing Night event every week and I got the Achievement for the zone we were in in about 30 minutes. Plus, the fish have some value to vendor.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Pulled a Banekin Horn after 5 kills, a Spider Crown in ~100 kills, a Petrified Spider Egg in 8 kills and a Bile Gilt and Brass Anklets in 1 Kill all in the past week.

    Killed over 1000 Frost Atronachs and still don't have an Everfrost; but over the course of the game (while collectibles have existed) I've probably gotten 10 or so Chattering skulls.

    There's either a rarity variable or it's RNG being RNG.

    Just do what you'd normally do and they will occasionally drop.
    I've killed already 3900 flesh atronachs.
    I don't think it'll drop by accident.

    I'm a Master Angler. Some zones are easy to close, some are not (river fish in the Rift or foul in Malabal Tor, sure)

    Random is random? I'm really confused about what you think the rules of randomness are.

    Random means that I can never once, not in a million years, see a drop. It also means that I can get a drop 5 or 6 times in a row. It means that, although the odds are against it, I can roll a die 1,000,000 times and never see it come up 6. It's statistically improbable, but it's entirely possible.

    There is a difference between trophies and collectables. My guess is that your inventory was full of trophies because they stay there. Collectables disappear when you use them and are random drops from monsters.

    No.
    Are the collectables account based or character based?
    Character-based.
    Why are trophies not a part of the collection UI?
    Because some of them can be used to do things (one temporarily increases your stealth radius, for example), and they are meant to be a measure of what that character has achieved. I'd like to see them eventually become part of the collection anyway, though. I don't care which of my characters has received the Blackfeather Court whistle and which ones haven't - I just care that I have received it. You could even deal with the whole "you can use trophies by putting them in your quickslot" thing by setting a trophy from your collection to be active (in the way you set a mount or a pet or a costume to be active), which would then have it show in the first available quickslot (or, if that would somehow cause problems due to the fact that it isn't actually in your inventory, set it so that it can be activated by hitting a different key rather than using the quickslots).

    BUT you can bank any repeated collectibles and use them on a second character, so I'd say the OBJECTS are account-bound (can be banked but not traded) and the ACHIEVEMENTS are character-bound.

    While I've killed a lot of them, I doubt I've reached that # and I've had mine for some time. I do not believe I've gotten more than 2 of them, possibly just the one.

    Two things, first, there are RNG's and there are ESO RNG's... I tend to think ESO's have some other factor built in, whether some global cooldown or counter. Obviously, unless you did it all in one pull, 3900 of anything takes a minute. (I also figure the programmer from Office Space is the one in charge of the Numbers-more-gooder department there)

    Second, would be nice (beyond the achievements) to be able to show stats on just how many of a particular type of critter you have slain.

    @eNumbra , I got my everfrost from Spellscar, as I recall. Possibly Malabal Tor.

    Killed them in both locales - random is random: the only thing that effects whether or not it will drop is if it's high enough level that you gain XP from it.

    Actually yes, that's an important distinction, and I probably should have said that. I know I only ever use the collectables on my main - any that drop for my alts get put in the bank for my main to use them. Any duplicates that my main has already added to his achievements get vendored.

    Hi, my impression is that there is some kind of counter that either blocks or increases the chance of finding something rare again in a short time and that it is character bound. Guild mates that twink a lot seem to find way more than other people - including loot here. When the dwemer style was new and everybody was hunting them, it was a common thing with me and some friends that finding a style happened like with the first couple of containers and would not happen again for over an hour at least regardless of how many containers we would open. Hence I suspect some drop prevention after some great purple loot or rare fishes. Of course it could be a one-time character effect with increased loot for motivating players with a first quick reward that is getting refreshed after an hour or two. And getting purple loot would just not be possible with the bonus from such an effect.
    I hope that there is no such effect but it is fishy nonetheless. What I hope too is that the character's id is not getting used in a bugged way in salting the random result with the effect that some items are out of reach for certain characters.
