Setup 1...
BOOTS + HELMET + SHOULDERS OF AIR & JACK + GUARD OF CYRODIIL WARD
DOMINION SHIELD + PACTS SWORD
STAMINA 18085
ST REGEN 1600 [800 /s]

Setup 2....
5X MEDIUM
DOMINION SHIELD + PACTS SWORD
STAMINA 18494
ST REGEN 1034 [517 /s]

SPRINT COST 3100 / 2s [1550 /s]
MOONCALF 10%


Setup 1 continuous sprint time = app. 21s [expected 24s+]
Setup 2 continuous sprint time = app. 17s [expected 17s+]
18085 / (1550 - 800) = 24.11
18494 / (1550 - 517) = 17.90

Actual result....
18085 / (1550 - (800 /1.1)) = 21.98
18494 / (1550 - (517 /1.1)) = 17.12

Conclusion...
Mooncalf is being applied to character sheet, but not used in calculations.

    I tested it a different way and it appeared to be working. I tested it like this.

    Hit dodge roll, wrote down my stamina then waited for first regen tick and compared the difference to determine how much stamina I regained at that tick. Then I put cp in and compared the difference to the previous value.

    I know that when you stealth your stamina recovery drops to 0, something similar may happen while sprinting. That could be why the sprint test is failing. I have also experienced bugs where "recovery" is showing up in the character sheet but is only working while in combat. (more info on that here)

    there are 2 different stamina regenerations - combat and non combat, non combat one is usually high, while you sprint stamina regenchanges into combat regeneration, which usually is a lot lower(unless you build for it) therefore sets that give you non-combat stamina regeneration will be useless at that point.
    i beleive mooncalf is working correctly.

    If you download "harvens extended stats" you will be able to see your in combat stam recov and out of combat (or "idle") stam recov. Hope this helps your testing :)

    I haven't heard any reports no. But yeah I feel you, always the possibility. And testing things based on false stats is just craptastic.

    Update:

    Harvens attribute bars....show stamina reg rates and costs live.
    Harvens extended stats ..show missing stamina idle regen

    Test 1 - no armour

    stamina = 15793
    sprint cost 3600 /2s
    regen = 734 /2s
    idle regen = 1469 /2s
    sprinting shows -550 every 0.5 seconds
    sprinting out of combat... -550 active & +1469 recovering
    sprinting in combat... -550 active & +734 recovering

    15793 / ((3600/2)-(1469/2)) = 14.82s sprint time (in or out of combat)
    (550*4 + 1469) / 2 = 1,834.5 sprint cost /s

    Test 2 - various medium armour 7 pc

    stamina = 20771
    sprint cost 3600 /2s
    regen = 1930 /2s
    idle regen = 1785 /2s
    sprinting shows -451 every 0.5 seconds
    sprinting out of combat... -451 active & +1785 recovering
    sprinting in combat... -451 active & +1930 recovering

    20771 / ((3600/2)-(1785/2)) = 22.88s sprint time (in or out of combat)
    (451*4 + 1785) / 2 = 1,794.5 sprint cost /s

    Conclusion:
    In or out of combat stamina gets used at the same rate [-451 or -550 per half second].
    As the sprint cost is fixed at app. 1800/s this can only mean..
    a. only idle regen is being used for sprinting which appears all over the place and is not shown by ZOS
    but the recovery rate when the sprint is stopped is that shown for idle or combat mode.

    I will look into other abilities...
    -53 sneak both modes [per half second]
    -2709 dodge both modes
