But ZOS swapped the Thorn and Chillrend servers at 1.6 and there's hardly any lag on Thorn even when 150 people were around you, and this was before DC exodus.

EDIT: If you notice on Chillrend now, there's the lag that used to be on Thorn.

Hmm... I wonder if there's a correlation to players that might have left thornblade and moved to chillrend

Azura's star is fantastic pvp. EP daycaps, and DC tends to dominate at night, but there are always good fights to be had, and hardly any lag. If there is lag, it's regular lag where your skills are just slightly delayed/minor rubber-banding, and not the thornblade level of lag where you take no dmg, can't use skills, and EP takes keeps by just stacking bodies on top of the flag.

You must not have been there for the final great DC assault on Chalman on the first day of the current campaign. All of us crashed with the inner down and it was the straw that broke the camels back.

Mass exodus occurred within minutes of that. I think I even saw Moses trying to lead us to the promised land of no lag. Only milk and honey. With honey comes a lot of bees though.

While the lag on AS has been pretty good since playing there, the blue zergball is real. Add in some familiar faces returning and it's like going home.

    That's not a compliment.

If you're trying to console yourselves with an easy win, DC, then you're getting it. Showing that the only reason you didn't night cap Thornblade was lack of ability, not lack of desire, isn't winning you any points.

And I saw who picked up those AD scrolls (AD 2 bars, DC Locked). Good Jerb, guys. Much skill, so powerful, much wow.

Whoa whoa whoa. What familiar faces? If by zergball you mean MY 20-30 players all trying to just have fun and actually play then-ok. We aren't zerging we are just staying together. Furthermore we didn't touch ad scrolls. We just wanted our own. It was ad trying to interfere at brk and getting slaughtered for their butting in.

Many on DC don't nightcap because we have jobs and families-not conducive to being up all night tweaking on the map. :(

And I don't see this as an easy win. I took Roechaccas advice and stopped worrying about winning or losing. I just want to sign on and fight and actually stay logged in for more than half an hour and be able to use my skills I worked hard to earn. :)

I was with Jauriel and company at BRK last night. I thought there was some good fights their, especially when AD showed up and made it a 3 way affair, and just start attacking anyone who wasn't yellow. Why they didn't go after their own scroll, i have no idea, but each to their own. I logged after we took BRK so i don't know what happened after that. There was a lot of good fighting their i though and no real lag so i was just happy i could actually use my skills in a large battle for a change :)

    Mostly eternal :p

I might add that DC did not night cap Thornblade because something something Phoenix guild (forget full name) was previously nightcapping Thornblade for EP before Gondor and his short bus of martyrs started fighting them off. I'm pretty sure there had to be an organized EP all nighter to stop the blue jihad.

We lost Thornblade because of our inability to counter our keeps and scrolls being capped with no say on our part; you can still pick up scrolls and capture objectives even if damage is lagged a minute behind :(

In all fairness, this has benefited and harmed all three factions, to the point I've seen people in this thread *prods* do the same thing (picking up scrolls through AE). I don't blame them for doing it, though, nor hold it against them. The server code in ESO for Cyrodiil is /terribad/. That cannot be emphasized enough.

Regardless of the reasons, the overall benefit to the game by there being more than one viable campaign is enormous. If Thornblade has to die so that others might live, then so be it. Competitive action on Chillrend and Azura's makes the game's PVP community healthier.

Give it some time and I'm sure Thornblade will wake up again, too.

In a perfect world there are no buff servers, there's 3-4 bars of each faction on each server, and ZOS finally fixes the lag issue.

No, I mean between 1am eastern to 3am eastern US times the scrolls of both EP and AD were taken and the map was turned completely blue. By the time the EP scrolls took a walk from their temples it was 3 bars of DC population vs 1 bar of AD/EP each.

I especially liked how DC started with AD's scrolls as they dropped to two bars against the still locked DC population, letting the EP population thin out (still at 3 bars when the AD gates opened) before pressing for scrolls.

That's usually right after I log for the night. I do know that when I get home from work and check the map, EPs been pretty busy crowning an emp and taking a scroll or two during the day.

I especially liked how DC started with AD's scrolls as they dropped to two bars against the still locked DC population, letting the EP population thin out (still at 3 bars when the AD gates opened) before pressing for scrolls.

FENGRUSH defeated AD players and pillaged their scroll. After witnessing a clear surrender FENGRUSH INC retired for the evening. No attention was paid to bars!

... I tried to run Fengrush down to get scroll but he runs faster than any player in the game... as a sorc.....

I asked him how does it and he said he plays on an Alienware... seems fish.
