Subtly racist remarks in chat, can they be reported?

A couple of times I've encountered subtly racist remarks in the chat. For example one poster said "I don't like Redguards for obvious reasons." Another time I asked where you could find ebony ore, and one poster replied "Compton" followed by "Its funny because black."
Can these types of things be reported?

Report them, then put the players on Ignore.

The point of posting them was to emphasize the subtlety of the remarks. That seems to have escaped the comprehension of some of us.1 -

Depends on the situation. If it's you can't do this dungeon with us because you're (insert colour here) or anything else where a individual is singled out and persecuted then yes those persons should be punished.
If it's just words on a screen then you need to grow up its words on a screen.
As someone who has put up with it my whole life for being half cast, yay I get it from both sides!!! If I to offence to every little comment I wouldn't have time to do anything else.

You dont need to emphasize the word "subtlety" that is why we have the word in the English language so you can use it instead of quoting the "subtlety"
