The invasion of Tamriel by the Kamal is quite recent, and it's entirely possible that fleeing elements of the Kamal army may have found a hiding spot somewhere in the Ebonheart Pact rather than having escaped by sea to Akavir, or that scouts may be landing somewhere in the hopes of preparing for another invasion.

@UrQuan Ugh, hopefully ZOS eventually releases some sort of Akaviri expansion with some of the cool races from that continent included in the game in some form or another, along with some new weapon and armor sets. I've been waiting for my Akaviri katana for over a year now =/

What I'd really like to see eventually (and I really mean eventually: this would be a long way down the road after a lot of other things make it into the game first) would be an expansion that sends you on an expedition to Akavir.
