Transfer to console?

When ESO releases on PS4, will we be given the option to transfer our PC characters/account to a PS4 account for the game? I dont expect cross-platform, but it'd be nice if we could at least move our characters over or copy our account over to console.

I really... REALLY expect that to change.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

As long as I can buy the ps4 version for £20 like they said I don't care what they change.

Why would you want the console versions? No add-ons!

Agree, it will be difficult to adjust...but my couch is amazing! I'm also thankful, that researching crafts will mostly be done then, so if i need to know a timer about a specific craft then ill set an alarm in my phone (I know that is geeky, as my wife would say).

The one reason I would want to x-fer is my friends. Never having to need the terribad LFG finder would be a blessing.

One thing about us console players, we love are group finders. I will put money on it console players won't have to wait more than 10min for a dungeon run.

They said they are adding some addon features to the main game so that will be handy.

Then there's my main point all my friends are on console, 10 friends all playing together I'll never have to buy another pot or enchantment ever again. We will be a self sufficient guild.

Because I've mostly switched over to console gaming with friends now.

Because console people are cooler, PC players are like hermits they don't even want bubble chat to set ON as default in a MMROPG game. At least in xbox I can voice chat with my friends

    Couch + TV + controller = comfort
Chair + keyboard & mouse + monitor = not comfortable (and I say that as an owner of an Embody chair - the king of all chairs)

Playing with console gaming peasents = not fun.
No add-ons, inferior graphics, longer loading times, difficulty communicating with other players (due to so few using keyboards), and the list goes on. Console ESO is bad news. But it has one superior feature. CONTROLLERS & A UI DESIGNED FOR CONTROLLERS.

    ESO PC needs it badly.

End the tedious inventory management game.

Console gamers are more likely to join up with strangers for group content. Group content is the primary focus for console gamers as well.

They said they will be implementing some addon features to the console version

Consoles have built in voice chat, we don't have to rely on *** 3rd party (sometimes paid for) voice chat. Every MMO on console has always had written chat that's used just as much as its used on the PC MMO's.

The ps4 can handle ESO's graphics easy so that's a moot point.

Loading times are just as bad on the PC that's down to zeni.

All your points are the bog standard generic pcshitrace quotes that are mostly not true.

You think a console's platter disk on a SATA2 bus can load an ESO zone faster than a 1,400 MB/s PCI-express SSD? What, are you crazy? And what does "that's down to zeni" even mean?
Implementing add-on features does not do justice to the daily updates players receive to the hundreds of available add-ons.
PS4 CANNOT handle ESO's maximum graphics capabilities, not by a long shot.

You sir, are talking out of your ass.
End the tedious inventory management game.

The one thing you pc gamers always forget is console optimisation. You know like how you get a PS3 that's 8 years old to run a game like last of us.

Optimises the game on the ps4 properly and it can look amazing (not likely I know, it took around 5 years to figure out how to squeeze the power out of the PS3)

There are not many addons that are needed though the ones that are will be put in.

By down to zeni I mean maximising disk usage and trimming down file sizes. You wouldn't beleve the amount of crap they leave because they don't have to worry about it.

Remember, the reason it is taking so long to get the game on console, is because they have to redo parts of it to make it work on console without needing a bunch of addons.

As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.
