I've been using a logitech G700 for the past year or so (have eso on home theater PC hooked up to hdtv). Now it's starting to get flaky (sporadic quivering motions, etc.) I'm just wondering if anyone has good experience with a particular make of wireless mouse.

This is what I use... I just wish they'd come out with a "gaming" trackball.

But to actually ANSWER your question... nope. I haven't! Have you changed the batteries recently?

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Me personally? I have a Razer Ouroboros, probably not suited to ESO that well but I love it.

Wired Mice are so much better for gaming. Have you replaced the batteries in your mouse?

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I've had my G700 for 2-3 years now, still absolutely no problems. Have you cleaned the hole with the sensor under the mouse? If you get a hair in there or something, it starts quivering and acting weird.

P.S. First Gaming mouse to last me longer than a year. Best one I've had so far as well.
P.S.S. I use mine in wired mode 99% of the time. Less latency.

I use the G700 and I stay wired all the time. For the little I do outside of gaming with it, it's a bigger hassle to unplug and replug each time. I blow (canned air) all my gear out at least once a week, whole PC, mouse and gameboard.

Get the G700s, the new model. It's an upgrade in every way. Using the macro software I can play eso almost completely with one hand. If you need to stay on battery for more than 15 hours at a time though, this mouse is not for you. Then you should consider the G602. I find the G700s perfect for me due to advanced macros, precision, and it maintains 100% wireless accuracy with no lag even from 30ft away (while i'm playing in my living room). That last feature is tough to find.
End the tedious inventory management game.

Logitech G700s has been doing me wonders in the game.

Batteries last a couple of days with 12 hour days of play if upgraded to better ones than those that come with it.

I have a Logitech MK710 combined mouse-keyboard set (I presume that's what the "MK" stands for). Battery life is supposed to be three years. Wireless connection is excellent.

The mouse fits the hand very nicely; you have LMB, RMB, MMB (wheel with side-to-side motion, too) -- which is all the standard stuff -- plus scroll forward and scroll backward buttons on the side of the mouse (MB4 and MB5) and a pressure plate at the bottom under your thumb (MB6). My only gripe with it is that the S/W is set up for Windows 8 (which I despise); if I get excited while playing, I tend to squeeze the mouse a little too tightly and MB6 gets activated. The default action of MB6 is to convert all applications to Win-8 windowed mode... which can be a real pain in the butt during combat.

So far, it hasn't gotten me killed, but I'm going to figure out how to disable the damn thing...

The software for configuring the keyboard and mouse is nice; however, typical Logitech, you have to scrounge it up off of the Internet. They don't even tell you about it, the jerks. Their customer service web page is also about as useless as a website can be... Once you have it all setup, though, combined with my Logitech G35 headset, it's a very nice setup.

FWIW, I highly recommend the G35 headset. Excellent sound and it's the most comfortable headset I've ever owned.

I really love my Razer Naga Hex. 6 buttons on the side, perfect for ESO. Comfortable grip, not sticky. Been using it for a year and a half without a single problem. Plus you know Razer products are going to be great.

    Hi All,
Thanks for all of your helpful responses. I did just get a new battery for it. I did take a magnifying class to the sensor and noticed there were 2 glass "eyes" in there, but they're inset into the body of the mouse so only compressed air for cleaning.
The G700 has 3 side led lights that show charging status and all green when fully charged, but I do notice that when the problem occurs, they sometimes flash orange (not sure what that signifies)
I realize that a wired mouse is better for precision, but I love to kick back in my easy chair when playing and with a 56" hdtv, you really can't get too close.
I do use the Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard with a long USB cable, but that is certainly worth the inconvenience.
