Jeweler

Hi, I think it could be a great addition in the future to have a new crafting profession, the jeweler. It would be awesome to craft set of jewels that goes along armor, weapon and shield.

awesome thread and request you have here, i support this 100%

when i first saw the tables and work benches in eso i was of the belief that the "clothing table" was meant for making clothing, as in clothing that you wear during daily activities and roleplaying and had nothing to do with armor. i also thought the same was going to happen with jewelry making, so i searched for a jewelry crafting station only to later realize that i had invisioned something far beyond what was actually the very limited and cheap version we see today.

Yep! I just mentioned this on Reddit's Elder Scrolls Online page. It would help people build complete sets!

I'm glad to see many share my thoughts. I think everything is already on the table to make it happen.

The resource nods could be the same ore type nods. They only need to yield some jewelry making stones. But the base level could be the same has the armor/weapon. The crafting station could be one already existing, or simply add a bench jeweler. The level of quality could be the same has armor/weapon.

Really, it shouldn't take much to make this happen.

see, and thats how us players have been forced to think this whole time, its we who are coming up with the ideas. and those ideas simply never get put ingame, which is just plain sad.

I'm all for being able to craft jewelry in any of the existing craftable sets. Why should the dropped jewelry be the only ones available!

I think jewelry should just be tossed into Enchanting and they can be done with it easily. The jewelry itself is fairly useless without the enchant anyway.

I would rather have it included in Blacksmithing.... only because I have that maxed out!

I have all the crafts maxed out but do not see them adding jewelry into the game in an existing profession. They will add it in as a new profession so everyone starts on the same playing field at level 1.

I just finished a complete set of hunding Rage and parts of Night mother set for my VR4 alt. Made purple the glyphs, craft it with the motif I like, etc... Made the weapons acordingly... The foods and some potions. In all, I can craft anything, I love doing it. And many crafters will understand that feeling of being able to make anything you need. It's hours of work, but always fun.

The only thing that was missing, was the possibility to craft my own jewels to go along the armor/weapon sets.
