Prepare for incoming ....
- P2W
- Use search function
- No because of lore
- Make it cost gold, do not allow in Crown Store
- Put it in Crown Store <- That's me
- It better have cooldowns!
- Choices should matter!
- Just re-roll
- Unintelligible gibberish
Did I miss any?

You say this as if all the other suggestions you made are wrong and the one you support is right?

If they change anything in races, that is definetly a reason to give anyone playing that race a free race change option. You could not logically blame players for choosing a bad race and say with straight face that "choices should matter" when it was not the players choice in the first place. No ... but they need to adapt racial passives to the new game mechanics and buff/nerf/totally change some.
One of the only things you say that I agree with. A perfect example is Argonians. Players who chose this race in attempt to optimize for potion cooldown were displeased to find that months later, and after leveling to max rank, the racial passives that lead them to choose that race were changed.I realize that often, the reason for *asking* for race change is due to changing gameplay mechanics
With how grindy and time consuming it is to get to v14 you really must be kidding.but between the option to make *more* characters
either you're kidding or you have never actually played eso. Relative irrelevance... Loland the relative irrelevance of race in this game
No idea what you meant here. It's clear you don't strive for excellence the way some of us do. But it seems you do recognize that racials can optimize your character, but like, you just don't care? Yeah.(I know, I know...ANY advantage in numbers is seen by some as less than optimal, but having no interest in being anything but *competent* myself, that argument tends to hold little weight with me personally)
Loosely translates to: I don't want you to have it because you want it.the most obvious follow-up argument - namely, "if you don't want to change YOUR race, fine, but why can't I?" - precisely BECAUSE there is a segment of the population asking for race changes as an option
I kinda understand this. I think you mean that one person being an optimized race will reflect negatively on those who are not. Simple solution would be to just use the proposed race change to change this if it mattered to you. Other than that, it's not as if people don't already roll dunmer dk's, altmer sorcs and khajiit NB's. Those people are already presently at a disadvantage. To be against this because a perceived threat of future rejection just seems silly.and more importantly, WHY those people are usually asking for that change, can alter the presence and effectiveness of people of a particular mindset in a particular section of the game (in this case, probably most heavily in PVP) - which WILL change the game for everyone to a certain extent
This game is hanging on by a thread- or hadn't you noticed? The fact that you really just used the word HAPPIER when describing the discontent people have about racial imbalances and sub-optimization is just beyond me.I'm *personally* happier watching the general community either cope with what they consider to be sub-optimal (but still perfectly serviceable in actuality) character builds or leave in an angry huff
Yeah. This seems like a really specific type of person. If you want to continue to play the game you like, you might want to hope for people of variety to continue to play. Otherwise, there will be no game.the people that I would *like* most to stick around are more likely to be those that have the patience and creativity to take what they've been given and find ways to make it work, and the sense of inner peace that comes from knowing that while they cannot have everything they want, they can strive to be as creative and innovative with the mechanics they've been given, and can find a way to be satisfied with what they have available.
