I'm with you on that. A "commoner's clothing" pack and a "noble's clothing" pack would be nice.

Nedic heavy armor from shadas tear and a quest in stonefalls, (brothers of strife or something like that)
And a grey moth priest robes
And a priest of the eight robes
Maybe a heavy version of the priest outfit

I agree, but if they do that then they can't sell the exact same costume 10x just in different colors


I would if they fixed w/e introducing dyes did to Naryu's costume (and gear like it) that makes certain brown sections un-dyeable, so that it was all black again. I would have thought that since they were selling it they would have fixed this old, old bug.

Crownstore costumes has pretty much killed any hope for having LOTRO style clothing system..

Now they just keep adding variations of basic armor and clothing in different color sets to store. They decide what we wear from now on, we cant make our own custom clothing sets that work as costumes like in LOTRO.

Please do not support costumes.

Costumes or rather costume slot was terrible idea for clothing to begin with.. Full clothing in one plain set of colors, no customisation. Costume slot should have only been for quest disguises.

All the stuff threy sell now would have been fully usable in LOTRO style cosmetic item system.

Ok, I agree giving the player the ability for full customization (maybe controlled by crafting) of clothing system would be ideal. Lacking that, I guess we would have to be happy with "costume parts that can be mixed and dyed and not just full body costumes like now".

As for available costumes, Baconlad, Magus & Iago have some good suggestions.

A tiger skin Loincloth and nothing else for male chars.

And that is a classic barbarian costume.

I like to see the heavy armor faction guards wear in PvP love the nord heavy armor the guards wear and love to get my own set and show off pact pride.

Costumes should be able to be broken down and worn in their individual parts!

I bought the Court Jester costume, thinking "costume" actually meant "set' (ie, each piece of the costume was individually wearable). Quite disappointed to learn that I couldn't just walk around, wearing the Court Jester's mask (Yes, that was a noob mistake. Hey, I bought that costume and a mount as soon as I finished the Coldharbour tutorial!)

I'm definitely in favor of casual wear. It's fun for hanging around town and RP scenarios. I think that some of my wishlist items may be on the way, but time will tell. If not, please consider (this is very female-oriented) various colors/styles: townsperson dress, noble dress, farming outfit, some other kind of gown that isn't white like the wedding one. Also agree on Stros M'Kai quest disguise type of ensemble.

Some non nun/tribal/mage style light armor. Seriously- after trying the light armor build it really did strike me how little there is to choose from until you hit a medium level.

It would be probably much easier to implement 11 new slots for looks (aka transmogrification) that could also be dyed. Because some of the low-tier armors look better than the tier 4 ones, and also people want to mix-match them.

But yeah, whatever.. I almost always use either Stormfist disguise or that elite knight (white) one for crowns.

I'd rather have them retexture/remodel all armors that are in the game to the new standard. Redguard heavy now looks awesome (except those *** hip plates.. but I guess that if they also put those flaps on damned ROBES, they must REALLY like them.. even if 90% players hate them as they just hang in air clipping with hips and weapons..)..

I just hate what they've done with the Orc heavy though.. It had a glorious metal cleavage, now it feels like a symbol of puritan censorship...

Brings up an interesting question too. Can we have costumes that also give our characters body paint and tattoos? Plenty of characters already have both, though.
