how to feed as a vampire without stealth passive?

Am not sure if am doing it right, but from the look of it we must sneak behind npc then press X to drain their health.. but the problem is it is almost impossible to sneak up to many enemy.. as they will detect you even if you are behind them..
plus most of the monster come in groups, the one you sneak up might not see you but the other ones beside him will very likely see you. it seem the only place i can feed is the low level zone around the first town.. am i missing something? how/where do everyone else feed?
p.s. i wish there are sleeping npc around the world where we could feed freely like in oblivion/skyrim..

i think you are not quite getting the mechanic, stand behind an npc about 3-5 ft and you should be able to satiate that hunger... i have had no problem with this on my vr2 in the 1st silver zone. Also, you can pick off the sentries; there is always one guys walking around between grps.I only came to melt faces; I leave the whining to the rest of you.0 -

yea but we can't feed him them freely.. feeding count as an attack..even to a sleeping target... right? or am i missing something?0
