Will my Imperial characters transfer to XBox One & PS4 if I buy the cheap version?

I've read that our characters will transfer to XBox One and PS4 if we bought the game on or before June of the year released. So my question is...what about those of us who bought the imperial edition before June....Will we have to buy another Imperial Edition for XBox One and PS4 to be able to access our characters? Will I have to pre order the XBox One or PS4 version to be able to still play and race on any faction? If I buy the cheapest version of the Xbox One or PS4 ESO CDs will I be unable to access my imperial edition content that's on my PC version? I read somewhere that I get the XBox One or PS4 version for $20....does that mean it's the imperial edition that I already own on PC or a downgraded version that blocks access to the imperial edition bonus content?

I cannot remember where I verified this but I did. You will get the imperial upgrade and adventure's packs with your console transfer. Check your collection menu because you will get everything you have unlocked there. You should expend all your crowns before the transfer because you will get everything you bought that is in your inventory, bank and collection but your unused crowns will not transfer to the consoles.

P.S. What console are you transferring to? I cannot wait to play this game in my Xbox One.

There will be an email sent in April so it should address all of your questions. Someone posted a link above too so for now I'd find it impossible to copy an account to console without the current features/benefits that exist on PC.

*note* it's an account COPY not a transfer.
Also there may be things that don't transfer which are purchased from the crown store.

I'm getting the Xbox One version. I have all of the systems Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and even Wii, Wii U, 3DS XL, PS Vita (the fat OLED version lol)....and I installed a 1TB onto my ps4. However, even though I prefer the PS4 over the Xbox One...most of my memory is gone even with a 1TB....I only have like 100GB left. My Xbox on the other hand is the call of duty version with 1TB and hardly any memory used. There's just not a lot of exclusives for Xbox compared to PS4....or good ones for that matter. I prefer the feel of the Xbox One controller over the PS4....but the PS4 has the amazing touch pad between the analog sticks...and spears. But for shear memory purposes I'll probably go XBox One. I've wanted to buy the new Alien Ware console but I've heard horrible things

More than likely the email that will go out April/May will allow you to buy the console game for $20 and include a code for you to use on the console store(s) to own the imperial edition and the explorers stuff
OR
The ZOS support will just give all who grab the $20 game X amount of crowns to upgrade everything.

So yes, if you have the imperial version on PC, and you qualify for the transfer, you will get the Imperial version on console. Same thing goes for pre-order perks. It's spelled out quite clearly.
