Divine trait is broken.

Divine is not working for Magicka recovery. With the Atronach on I have 1097 magicka recovery. If I swap my chest out for an identical piece with a purple divine trait on it that magicka recovery updates to 1115 magicka recovery. The problem is my effective magicka recovery is no different.

At 1097 Magicka recovery I recover 1587 Magicka on a recovery tick.
At 1115 Magicka recovery I recover 1587 Magicka on a recovery tick.

The 6.5% divines did absolutely nothing for effective magicka recovery.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Try it with two identical pieces where the only difference is divines. Hit a skill write down your magicka, then wait for the recovery tick write it down, subtract the difference and compare between the two pieces.

How are you checking this? Because it could easily just be an issue with an addon display.

Have you tried just observing the default UI bars and comparing rates of magicka reganeration to confirm that FTC is showing you the correct numbers?

The native bar is just a bar, no numbers. I can't discern the difference.

I just happened to earn a theif point since posting. I put 1 point in Arcanist for .3% more magicka recovery. This took my magicka recovery in my normal build from 1234 magicka recovery to 1237 magicka recovery. My effective magicka recovery, tested by the same means, went up 4 magicka.

So I am actually getting effective magicka recovery from CP, However divines + atronach is giving character sheet magicka recovery, but no effective (actual) magicka recovery.

Ironically I have seen the same thing with CS weapon damage on mine... in reverse
My character sheets doesn't say anything about the increase....but in combat the damage in increased the right amount.
    :/

I just wish the character sheet was way way way more inclusive and USEFUL with a combat log file !

rune relic have you checked slotted ability for damage increase? The character sheet is pretty poor now, i mean it was minimal before which was manageable without the champ system. however, now with the champ system it borders on laughable.

Like if you put a point into mighty the increase wont be shown on the sheet but on the tooltip for say wrecking blow, you actually should see a number increase i believe.

I figured it out. The atronach itself works, if I drop the mundus stone my recovery ticks drop appropriately. The problem is the divine trait is only applying to the in combat recovery, and not the out of combat recovery. My tests were done in town where I crafted the pieces so I was not in combat. The out of combat recovery is not a big deal but it should be fixed. I also wonder if this may cause problems with % Magicka recovery increases.

So in combat magicka recovery is greater with divines, out of combat recovery is the same with or without divines. Also if we had a UI that showed these sorts of thing this would have been a lot less complicated.

Last I heard you didn't want to stack more than 2-3 pieces of Divines because you got serious diminishing returns.

    Is that still the case?

Slightly off topic but case re-opened :)
