Hey ZOS,

Now that many are playing without a sub I'd ask that one important implementation be adjusted which is the lfg tool within the game.
Suggestions are this:

Give a big exp bonus to the entire group for completing the dungeon / trials / raids via the lfg tool. When I say big I mean something like 1/3 of the exp bar based on dungeon level and some chunk of gold. This is to encourage others to use the tool a lot but with suggestions below if possible to funnel a better dungeon experience.

-Major changes to the user interface to show a pop-up and ask if people want to accept to join. This pop-up should show the roles pending to accept.
-Minor changes to select our roles but add in a filter that limits selection based on skills.
Healer filter should be healing staff and/or Templar healing line
Tank filter should be heavy armor and/or sword and shield
DPS should not have filters (hopefully dps is straight forward enough

Others feel free to criticize the filters but believe the overall idea is to first encourage people to use the tool and provide incentives to do so

I think any kind of incentive would be a good one, but first, they have to either fix or improve their existing grouping tool. And as you can see from many threads and posts about it, they are ignoring this issue. It's likely they are waiting for console crowd and hoping they can sell them a tool that is barely working.

If the group finder isn't fixed by console release you can rest assured the game will fail, miserably. Incentive is nice (although i'd rather see items or gold then experience), but that suggests the problem is that people don't use the group finder. It has been proven many times that the issue is not with people not using it. It is that is does not work.

Just yesterday I was standing outside of the banished cells where there were literally over 25 players, including many carrying restoration staves and 1h/shield. After a long chat with everyone we discovered nearly all players had been queued for hours. HOURS. Well, everyone but a few excess damage dealers ended up grouped and in the dungeon soon enough, but that certainly wasn't due to the group finder.

Manual group formation is fine, for the most serious endgame progression only.

The rest of us just want to logon, queue up, carry out some solo gameplay for a little while why we're placed in an appropriate group, and have fun. We do not want to logon, sit in a capital city, and spam /zone chat for hours looking for other players. Manual group formation died out of MMOs over 10 years ago.

End the tedious inventory management game.

This. The damned thing isn't working. No amount of stubborn insistence from ZoS or certain players will change that. It has zero to do with the population and zero to do with the amount of people trying to use it. It's busted. It hasn't worked correctly since 1.5.2 when they introduced dungeon scaling.

    Grouping and Grouping Tools

Created an entirely new backend system for the Grouping Tools to help you get into groups much faster.
When searching for Dungeons, Veteran Dungeons, and Dragonstar Arena, the group will only form once a full group is found.
When searching for a medium sized Trial, a group will only form once 8 members of required roles are found. The system will continue to search for more player characters once the group is formed.
Added the location “All” for Activity Types (Dungeon, Veteran Dungeons and Trials). This will allow you to group for any of these activities that you meet the minimum requirements for.
The activities will scale to the group leader.
The grouping tool will place you in a group within five levels or ranks of each other.

It was working just fine before that.

Hey your desire for items over exp is fine. Maybe they just allow in the build a "pick reward" option. Exp, gold or random item.

Queue problems, yeah the tool isn't working and I agree.

Manual group formation: It's not fine unless it's the only option.
There are so many people who are not going to stand around or participate in zone chats to lfg. I think "we" are missing out on some good contributors.

(This is meant to be in support of your comment about not wanting to sit in a city in chat or outside of a dungeon)

Console release: well if it's not fixed for PC this is more concerning than console.
For console I honestly am looking forward to a third party app like LFG.net that I use for Destiny. It's NOT ideal but it's better than nothing.

IF and when the developers address the must fix problems they PC and console gamers will support and help the developers become profitable.

lfg tool, VR levels both need to be fixed by May.

It's disgusting that this hasn't been a priority since after 2.0 went live. They need to start firing people from this ineptitude. This isn't a last on a list priority.

It seems likely that they are already short on developers. Firing people would probably not help, and I imagine it isn't easy to get competent people on board at this point. Their first and so far only product is not giving them a good reputation, and I don't envy them their task of trying to turn this situation around.

No, that type of direction is what begins to create an elitist community.
