That has not changed; and, as far as I know, the offer is open to anyone who qualifies. That said, the offer is a transfer of a complete copy of your game as it is when it is transferred but you may also keep everything you have on the PC as well since ESO is now FtP. The two games will not be interconnected though so after that you can progress your characters in two different directions if you so choose.
Thank you Moonscythe. I am just wondering what to do. I missed out on the collectors edition for the PC version. Not sure if I want it for the console version if they are still doing it.
Just thinking if I ever get 2 xbox ones, for me and my son, I can get then transfer a copy to myself for the $20 so me and my son can finally play together in the Elder Scrolls Universe.
The FAQ specifically noted that crowns will not transfer overAs of this time the "copy" is a one time option.
I personally assume we will get a transfer server option for Crowns someday but this is 100% speculation on my part.

Agree with all you said other then F2P. THANKFULLY ESO is not f2p (dont need unlimited gold sellers) It is actually B2P seeing how you still need to buy the game and can not just download it like aion, swtor, tera or any of the other f2p games out there.

I don't think that works as you describe.
It requires that the ESO account be linked to one Xbox live account.
Unless you own two diff ESO accounts I believe the account copy is one to one, not one to two

That is what I was thinking of doing. I would get the $20 copy, and my son would use the Collectors edition copy and I keep the goodies inside.

I don't think you understand.
As of June 30, 2014 you would need two diff TESO accounts.
The account copy is from ONE pc account to one console platform and one account based on how I read the FAQ.
Maybe I'm wrong tho...best of luck

Now I am confused. I thought the account I have on the PC will transfer to my Xbox One when I buy it for $20 if that is still going on. Then I will buy the Collectors Edition and then my son will use that disc for his account. So we will both have different accounts. He plays on his account I play on my account. That is the only way I know of doing it.
