Vet DSA Final Boss + 3500 Ping = PLEASE fix this broken game

I don't know what else to say. It just isn't fun anymore. We spend a few hours in DSA and then can't even finish because of the high ping rate. A complete waste of time on something that is trivial to us.

It's not just me. Guildies in other zones in different parts of the US are experiencing it too.

Horrible lag in PVP. Horrible ping in PVE. Why am I paying the monthly subscription fee?

I used to really love ESO...

    Sad as it is, the best answer that I've seen to your question is "you don't have to pay to play anymore."

    Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in the future of ESO though...

    yea i hit a new low tonight, was in cyrodil farmin ssome quests in bruma, ran into an enemy player from EP but we couldnt even fight each other.....we tried ....repeatedly. then gave up and clapped at each other since all our skills seemed to miss target and were only doing like half damage to each other.

    ive been telling my friend about this game for the last year we are supposed to play on ps4 togethter. after tonite i think im just gonna let it go. thanks for trying i guess?

    LOL I was PVPing earlier today and had a wonderful experience. I was just about to kill the guy that attacked me and then all of a sudden the 5 streaks I hit about 2 minutes earlier kicked in. What happened? I ended up right in the middle of a pile of enemies from the other faction and I had zero magicka to do anything with.

    Fun, right?

    They touched on the issue on ESO Live yesterday. So they're not neglecting us or ignoring the issue. Just don't have any solid solutions yet.

    It's taken them much, much too long to get to this point; but it's obvious they're putting lots of work into finding out what's causing the lag in Cyrodiil. It's been a long, long time since we've gotten patches every single week like we are currently and each one has something that attempts to help Cyrodiil lag, as well as other tweaks and bug fixes.

    I love the game. But the PVE lag is making it hard to play. Even just walking around Tamriel, I've walked into piles of enemies that weren't there until I was on top of them. And I've fought world bosses that I couldn't see but they are still able to put damage on me. Interestingly, pets and AOE do put damage on the enemies that lag won't let you see. So maybe Sorcs ARE king in our lag-filled world!

    That definitely sounds like an issue client-side, not server side. Lag wouldn't cause that. I'd repair your install and maybe check your in-game settings match your hardware horsepower.

    Lag is definitely causing it. Same as when all my casts come raining down at once, 30 seconds after casting. It's not client side. I've encountered this on three different high-end gaming rigs and it's worse when other characters are nearby.

    am i the only one that doesnt lag? i mean downloading the full ESO client + test server files only takes me 20 minutes

    Your download speeds has very little to do with lag. Latency is what's important.

    Yes pve lag is insane atm I had to leave darkshade daily yesterday as I couldn't bring myself to do it in so much lag
