This item does not appear to be in the game anymore. I think it looks amazing but I have been fighting nothing but dolmens in the second zone for the past 8.5 levels and it has not dropped.

At this point I was starting to wonder as I have killed the generals multiple times and still had not received it.

As such I contacted customer support and the guy told me that he could not find it in the database.

Must say I'm a wee bit miffed as I desperately want the top as shown in this thread --> http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/117723/bright-silver-seducer-armor/p2

    This item should be a drop from the chest that drops after the general boss "Torturers" have been defeated. Your best chances, if you don't care about the items level, will be your zone that goes up to level 23. Otherwise, the Torturers can be found in your Caldwell vet zones and will have a level that corresponds to the zones level.

    I'll try to get you an item code a little later.

    Thats what Ive been trying. I've been fighting only the dolmen's in that area since I was level sixteen. I am now level 24 and have defeated the torturer's multiple times.

    I did however receive a face mask of anguish the first time I defeated them and that was all the help could find when he searched .

    I'm just feeling rather discouraged as I will eventually out-level this area on the alt I rolled for specifically the retrieval of this top and it doesn't feel like it shall be a success

    I found the helm in the second EP zone, so around level 20 or so. I do not know if this set would drop at a corresponding VR level (VR 2 for AD and VR 7 for DC) or if it is only a level ~20 set. But yea, it does look pretty epic and I wish I had more than the helm.

    My suggestion: If you have a free character slot, make an EP toon and farm the dolmens in the second zone.

    I believe it does drop in the vet zones but there the general spawns do not depend on which zone so the chances are 1/10 for a general, 1/16 for the right general and 1/x for the drop.

    In a particular non vet zone there are 4 generals that spawn. This makes the stats 1/10 for a general, 1/4 for the right general and 1/x for the drop.

    1/40x vs 1/160x

    a sizable difference

    However it is the value of x that concerns me as one so often finds in math problems.

    Awesome thank you! I shall now continue destroying every dark anchor I can in stormhaven before I hit level 28. At the very least I might get the title "Enemy of Coldharbor" by then.

    I still wish though that a purely cosmetic item was not so challenging to obtain.

    Getting rare generals to spawn is hard, getting them to drop specific rare drops is even harder. Multiple bosses "share" loot tables, so you may even get this sooner than you expect it, fortunately enough.

    I went from level 16-29 simply fighting zone two dolmens.

    No Encasement :neutral:

    I'm now contemplating leveling my bank alt to try again but this level of farming is getting ridiculous for purely cosmetic items

    For example, let's say you want a Crown of the Lich from Dark Anchors.

    You could kill the Lich general, or Dylora and her sisters, as they may both drop the Crown of the Lich.

    Unfortunately, Zenimax's in-game "Knowledge-base" doesn't conveniently provide information on loot tables to help us in farming cosmetic gear. So I've no idea with regards to the Anguish chest + Head pieces.

    VR Anchors may also spawn any of the rare generals too. Which, incidentally, I realise isn't much useful information to you at the moment, but if you get bored and decide to level up to the VR levels, you'll still have the opportunity to get the gear. Kinda.

    I have heard rumors that this set also spawns at the seductive sisters in the fourth zone. With this loot table information this does give me hope that I might find it before having to sink to the lower odds as a vet. Thank you!
