3rd Skills Bar

I would love to have a 3rd skills bar for a different weapon and skills. It would REALLY shine well for vamp. or werewolf! I dont use werewolf because I have my main weapon and skills for that in 1st bar & the 2nd bar is for resto. staff or a bow. Those 2 setups are mandatory for me so there is no room for werewolf. So, I feel a 3rd skills bar is needed to make this awesome!

For convenience sakes perhaps just one bar that can be saved and exchanged so i don't have to drag all the different skills into it and out again. Leave it with the weaponswitch, just one extra bar to that can be added be exchanged with one of the weapons out of combat.

Werewolf already gives you a third bar
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Instead of a third bar, i'd like them to implement a saved profile option so I can swap between heavy/light tank/healer builds and equipment.

Wykkyd currently has an addon that handles it for me, but something in game would be nice. Something where I can make a selection, push a button, and a pre-configured set of skills gets moved in. As I said, wykkyd does a good job with his addon... so I don't really feel a pressing need for more bars...

I'd really like 2 bars with 9 skills in each. This would help sorcers immensely. Part of the reason Sorcs feel nerfed is that at least two of their five slots are filled by pets/magelight. A bigger bar would make the class much more useful.

I don't even like switching between 2 bars but do so when needed, adding a 3rd bar would just over complicate things for me.

I have thought of this before though, that I would like to be able to equip 2 complete sets of gear and skills (essentially 4 skill bars) just for convenience, for me it would be for having a complete pvp and a pve set up that I could easily swap between. I wouldn't want this to be something to could swap anywhere, any time. I think it would only work if you could only swap gear in town.

What he said works for me too..

Wykkyd's addon is decent but I'm always afraid I'm going to accidentally deconstruct or vendor my other set of gear that's sitting in my inventory.

It is built in such a way so you CANT be prepared for every encounter in pvp.

And that is a good thing.

No. It diminishes importance of choice. The whole reason we have such a limited amount of ability slots is to force us to make decisions about what we think is most important to our build and forcing us to specialize. Adding more slots diminishes potential build diversity as well. If you want a 3rd bar use overload or become a werewolf.

I don't really need another bar, but would like to get rid of the stupid "wheel of fortune" potion bar and just slot pots like skills. I can't tell you how many times i've eaten worms trying to select a pot.

And precisely five abilities you can slot on it and use.

I think Overload triggers another bar as well, though I'm not 100% sure.

The limited number of active skills is one of the things I really like about ESO. I played games where combat feels more like "just click the right sequence of skill buttons until you win or respawn", and I can't say I liked that very much, the limited number of skill slots making you think beforehand I encountered here in ESO was a refreshing change, and I for one hope they never change that!

As for 3rd slot... I much rather have only two weapons to swap, "one or the other" after all is easier to manage when things get hectic then having to remember if your bow is now the firat or second swap button click away from what you're using right now...

Oh, and BtW... WW already switches to a "third" skillbar when you transform, one containing only doggie skills...
Overload doesn't though, that one just kina replaces would weapon light/heavy attacks for the duration...

I can think of quite a number of people who do not, or barely ever, use their second skill bar. Which baffles me. I completely rejiggered my DK today, including all CP, for a Syrabane/Elf Bane set build, and couldn't help but think I wanted to use 7 or so more skills situationally without having to get out of combat all the time to swap them out.

No, I dont like switching, its complicated, malfunctions in pvp lag and a 3'rd would be terrible.

But 1-2 more slots on bar 1 and 2, would improve the gameplay for me.

There are sorcerers without any pets. Make decisions like everyone else. That is the beauty of ESO. Having more desirable skills than you can slot. This also prevents a clone war army.
