So What Now?

TripleBullet187
Just hit VR1. I know there are places to look on what to do next but I honestly rather just start my own fresh thread and ask the ESO community.

So now that I am VR1, where do I go from here? I still have my Main Story and Guild quests to do but other than that what would you guys recommend doing? Vet Dungeons seems logical but again not sure if I should or not. Should I begin questing in another factions area?

All in all, where do you guys thinks it's smart to move next?

Until you finish the main quest you can't go to other faction areas unfortunately

Ok, that's good to know. Not disappointing though. I kind of wanted to rush to 50 so I could enjoy the Main Story and Guild Quests more so like a TES game.

Well, I finished all of the main quest lines and guild quests the first month of release. On three different characters in every alliance. I would say you're in a more fortunate place right now, since you still at least have something to look forward to. I would try doing the main quest line and going to Cold Harbor. It's actually pretty fun. Now listen while staring closely into my eyeball. Cold Harbor is fun, and you like it. You like it a lot. I am I giant floating eyeball, and you agree with me. Now nod yes and enjoy Cold Harbor.... again, and again, and again.

See if you can get a static group together and run Craglorn quests! Craglorn Night with the buddies is an AWESOME break from Normal/VR Undaunted Pleges and Silver/Gold content!

Is a 4 man group enough for Craglorn or does it need to be 12?

He is probably refering to the 4man quests, think those are intended for VR10 and up. I'd recommend going through the two other factions' questlines. ESO is a game with a very high standard of quests compared to other MMOs and you should definitely see all the stories. It might take a while to level that way, but trust me, rushing to VR14 is just a bad idea.

I only rushed my home faction to hit 50. I really just wanted to rush to 50 so I can take my time withe everything else. I saved both guilds and the main story for post 50. Finished the main story last night and it was damn good! Haven't started the guilds yet but I'm on EP right now. I just did the quest where you have to steal the wine from the bartender. It was fun lol.

I will prob start doing VR Dungeons soon when I want to get more MMOish. For now though, enjoying taking the questing slow.

Have fun with Cadwell. Or rather no Cadwell but the Silver and Gold "story"line.
    Let the grind....begin !

It all depends on what you like to do. If you like to quest, then finish the main quest line and do Cadwells Silver and gold. It will send you to the other two factions home zones for all kinds of quests, delves, world bosses and more dungeons.

The other two zones are really a lot of fun if you enjoy quests and seeing new areas. IMO the progression on those isn't very bad at all. My wife and I ran through all the zones and were V12 when we finally hit and stayed in Craglorn. From there we did Craglorn quests, delves and started doing the daily pledges. It didn't take very long to get to V14 doing those.

If your in a hurry to get to V14 then grab a grind group as those have mentioned and head to Craglorn.

Well, if you're covenant, once you've finished the main quest your next move is to take lots of drugs and kill some dudes. :p

My cousin is VR1 also so we have half a group. I am a healer and he is a tank so finding two DPS shouldn't be to hard. Thanks for the heads up though!

With the range of mild spoilers... there's some reductive gag synopses for the things in store for you.

    Ebonheart Pact:
Get smashed. Break a priceless cultural relic, unleash a horrible monster. Repeat. Let someone else have the fun for a change. Consider that maybe you should have broken it instead. Get revenge.

    Daggerfall Covenant:
Go to Redguard heaven, Kill a Tharn.

    Aldmeri Dominion:
Lick a toad, eat it. Take Drugs for enlightenment. Take more drugs for "enlightenment." Trip balls. Get into a fight with a cat that's probably tripping harder. Kill a Tharn.

If you're looking to level, then the main quest lines and the guilds are great, as well as fun to complete.
Once in other faction areas , I found that exploring the full section, as you are introduced to them, for exploration experience and completing all solo dungeons before finishing the main quests was enjoyable and efficient.

Dungeons and whatnot are also great if you have people to do them with (:
