I kept forgetting something while creating a character and now I can't play cause I don't want to progress on a character I don't like.

I've noticed a lot of these posts since B2P. This may not apply to you specifically but a lot of these posts have an air of gold spammer about them. The limits are there for good reason. Take an ambien and play when you wake up.

Ravalox✭✭✭✭I would suggest using the PTS server to test Character builds. This way you would be able to build 8 slots before having to delete any.
When building your characters, write down or screen shot the settings; this way when you have perfected your build, you can easily re-build it on the live NA server (as well as the EU server) as exact duplicates with the correct name.
This only means that you will need to invoke and download the PTS client which is found here:
Other than using more disk space, I think this should be a viable option, and would be very useful in the future when new content is getting ready to come out and you want to know the how's and why's of what will be coming next.

WhimsyDragon✭✭✭And relatedly, I disabled both my goldspam add-ons and haven't seen a single spammer post in game past few days... so either they're gone or ZOS is doing a good job filtering them out... either way, not optimal to go accusing folks just b/c they play with chargen a lot the first week of relaunch.
