What's missing from the game that the Trailer shows.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed but for me, its the biggest let down with the game after seeing the trailers are: :'(

After playing Daoc for 10 years, i like the idea's of having clocks, most games have them, even the hobbits in lord of the rings have them, the 3 main characters in the trailers have them, but i haven't seen one cloaks in the game. :(

Biggest let down and for me is (The Arrival Cinematic Trailer) 3:35 The elf woman, starts shooting the green energy balls and blasting the daedra away from her and picking one up, them slamming it into the ground, then summons lighting to create a energy shield around here followed by a green energy whip she uses to pick them up and throws them around and kill them.
That sold me the game, but after buying the game and playing it, i found out there's no such skills or ability's in the game and felt ripped off and left with a game that cost alot of money and was miss sold the game :(

Up side:
I know Teso had a hard lunch but i kept on playing the game and now the games getting on track  , i feel the need to point out this fact, so it can something that can be added in the future as im sure other player have noticed this and would like them added :-)

Many thanks Eso for the great game and the hard work :-)

(Updated - changed Clock to Cloaks - my bad ;-)

I think the whip is lava whip most likely.. only its not green in the game, but can be multi colored. the energy field might be negate energy (which is a field that is rather large around you). The balls could be crystal shards or something also. :)

There you go they are in the game just different since the cinematic was made before the game was polished long ago.

    .

This ^^^ is missing because ESO can't handle that.....
    Hello everyone,

Our Cyrodiil performance is something we are very aware of. Performance drags when there are numerous players in the same place at the same time. This is why performance in Cyrodiil is fine for much of the day, but gets worse during more popular times. We are currently investigating ways in which we can reduce the spike of performance loss. We added in some features for Update 6 which we hoped would help, but ultimately did not. This is not a situation where we can just add more hardware. Player population in a given area hurts the performance and the more people that are in one area, the more performance is going to be hurt.

Actively, we are looking at changing the behavior of the players to remove incentives for large groups to stay in the same area. We want to do this by providing larger incentives for Alliances to split up and take on multiple-challenges in Cyrodiil. We’ll continue to work on this. We are also asked by players if there is anything they can do to help. In this situation, the best thing you can do is split off to different objectives when you notice performance going down. Cyrodiil is a big place with lots of different things to do. And thank you for asking.

    Assuming you meant cloaks OP?

They were in very early testings / WIP builds but there was some issue with they clipping or something; been a long time since they were involved in the game.

I assume the Elf was a Sorc, used negate magic (arrows and people got through but spells did not) and used overload (was fairly liberal on the effect) because she throws blasts of lightning and bolts, though overload does not grab and throw people around im sure the trailer was "pretending" that's how it kills them.

Trailers showing things that can't be done in the game is par for the course. Trailers are meant to do one thing and one thing only: Generate hype for the game.

It's perfectly fine to watch a trailer and spark your interest, but you should ALWAYS follow up and do your homework on a game before buying it.

Don't buy the hype. Buy the game.

Too answer your overall question, PvP with no exploiters/hackers/users of poor dev design. Didnt see one of those types in the trailers (which are PvP/imperial city).
