Armor Question

I am getting to craft a new round of armor for my sorcerer (VR4 magica DPS or healing). I am trying to decide whether to add in 2 pieces of heavy for the increased survivability or just stay 7 light (don't have the last undaunted passive yet). This guy rarely solos, he teams and duos with a friend.

Any thoughts/suggestions.
Thanks.

Not yet, but planning to at higher levels. Tried a bit at VR1 and got crushed.

Personally, I'm always going to recommend wearing 5/2 light/heavy, if you're going the caster route. Full light makes you squishy as hell in 1.6, and if you're dead in a group, you're no use to anybody. That said, there are other factors. If you can keep a damage bubble up, or at least put it up when you're in trouble, you might be able to survive.

My advice, do both. Craft 2 heavy and keep it with you, run with the 7/7 build first and see if that works first. If you're dying a lot, add the heavy. It really just depends on how you play. If you're able to stay out of the red and mitigate incoming damage enough that you aren't one-shotted all the time, stick with the 7/7.
