ZOS Proposition for the Siege Damage

-Increase the AoE from siege bubble and make it cheaper (a lot cheaper). Add a stamina morph

-Allow for siege to only be placed within tick range of a keep (or resource)

-The Heartland PvP Set buffed to have group capabilities similar to that of Worms Raiment, Sanctuary, Hircine's Veneer etc.

-Add a stamina purge into the game.

    No, why? that would make zergballs practically immune to siege, again.
    -Allow for siege to only be placed within tick range of a keep (or resource)
    I would welcome that change.
    -The Heartland PvP Set buffed to have group capabilities similar to that of Worms Raiment, Sanctuary, Hircine's Veneer etc.
    Not a good idea, the other sets are already weird enough in PvP, giving the benefit only to players you are grouped with.

    If it only effects the caster, why not.

    Siege shield should have a morph that follows the caster for 4-6 seconds. Another morph that is stationary but last a very long time.

    Stamina purge is a fine idea.

    Or they could actually make the damage reasonable. PvP tonight was the least fun I've had in this game in months.

    I had TONS of fun, it was the best PvP keep attack/defense experience in a long while, what they need to do is fine tune values of the siege equipment dmg

    My list is like this:

    Stone treb - add dmg vs structures, lower dmg vs players and especially NPCs
    Fire treb - i would say add even some more dmg vs players and buff vs iege equipment

    Fire ballista - lower dmg vs players and NPCs, buff up dmg vs siege equipment
    regular ballista - seems fine where it is
    lightning ballista - significantly up dmg vs players, low dmg vs buildings and siege eq

    scatter shot cata - add a huge buff to dmg vs players - this should be a very good antiblob, no DoT dmg weapon
    meat cata - this could use some love too i think
    oil cata - make sure that the effect can't be purged, but it can be prevented if you are immune to snares while being hit (it should add value of preventive buffs, vs spam of mass purges)

    oil pots - seem to be ok

    This is the most fun I have had in pvp for a long time. We held 4 keeps against superior numbers.

    This is the first time in forever I wasn't run over by 2 full raids vs 10.

    Multiple times I found tactical positions of high ground put down some siege and fired right into the middle of those beefy huge groups. I got 4 kills in 1 shot with a fire treb, direct hit.

    Thus is how it should be, this game now feels like medieval warfare. Strategy and siege positioning matters, and I was fired on by siege too, but I never took a direct hit because I either stay out of range or move.

    Siege shield is very effective though, which it should be. The tears were delicious though, you will see these large groups spread out a bit unless they wanted to be farmed by folks who will take high ground and artillery them in the face.

    Siege has disadvantages too, it has to be placed, your defenseless during shooting it, you can be flanked, its slow to put up and package away, and counter siege fire is a threat to kill you fast.

    Battles will now feel like medieval warfare, which face it, TES us heavy in medieval influence with magic fantasy, it makes sense.

    Overall, I saw a very positive response on the DC side, folks were growing wesry of having no recourse against superior numbers, the fact I saw so many successful keep defenses tonight was a big moral boost. I saw more successful defends tonight then I have seen in the last month.

    No. This would defeat the purpose of increasing the siege damage in the first place.

    Why? Siege pretty much anywhere outside of a keep is extremely vulnerable as it is. And again, this would defeat the purpose of increasing the damage in the first place.

    You've definitely got a running theme here to undo what desperately needed to be done. :unamused:
