    Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

    If twenty people can't get up onto the wall to take out the one guy on siege then i don't know how anyone's made it this far in the game.

    I am usually solo and rarely use siege. And even I like it. Now I have to actually pay attention.

    Yep this is certainly a step in the right direction. Yes low level and bad players will come complaining, but this is better for PvP as a whole.

    Those big red circles on the ground should be something to avoid, no joke but i never attempt to avoid them i can simply absorb and easily out heal all previous siege except stacked oil on the ground back in the good(bad) old days.

    I am glad to see siege be useful for more than just hitting walls again.

    It adds so much more strategy, it's great. high ground, sneaky gankers can sneak around behind siege, every siege engine has a purpose now... do you hunker down or sally forth?

    Spent all evening in Azura's fighting blue mostly. Had an Epic battle at Ash for a good couple of hours. Seige, counter seige, finally getting a breach and a foothold inside then getting beat back to the mine, resetting, fighting back, pushes, more seige and counter seige, push forward, get pushed back.

    It was awesome, finally looked like what a war should be.

    You know what I didn't see?
    Huge lag, zerg trains, balls on the resource flag. I didn't die to seige nearly as much as I expected, which is saying a lot for a very average sorc player.

    Might need to be some adjustments made to seige damage, but Zos, do it carefully if you do it at all.

    Sample Size: One Night. But so far, so good. It was a lot less laggy in Thornblade.

    Of course, the EP zergtroopers seemed to be operating in a much smaller unit. I'm not sure if that was due to the new siege, or something else. But it seemed to help.

    i wish people would actually TRY to play a bit more before posting utter *** like this.

    tonight there were a lot siege engines. there were a lot of people. and lag was minimum. i died a lof because of it, and i killed a LOT by using it. it was fun. zone chat is pretty quiet on EP side because most people are enjoying the game, instead of whining. some comments on siege dmg are mostly laughters.

    yes. took a few hours, but at the end of the night, when people see the red circle on the ground, they just scatter like headless chickens. there are "groups of people" moving together, but nothing like a "ball" and people are loosely travelling to avoid exactly that. sieges are *** everywhere, not just around keeps.

    Siege has become a real valid option in helping bust up large groups of players. I love it.

    I am not sure where I stand on the massive siege machine damage now although I always enjoy novelty. On one side taking a keep is next to impossible without overwhelming attacking numbers. Fire trebs hit so hard that I got one shotted 4 times mostly because an opposing faction member cc me and I couldn't move fast enough to get out of the red circle of death before it hit. Being a vampire sorc with fire everywhere didn't help. I am not sure how people are going to feel when they realize how hard it is to take keeps now.

    On the other side, there are some real positive changes. Now there are less zerg trains and because of that less lag. Siege machines were pretty useless against people before and now they are a force to be feared. Now low level players can hop on a siege machine and feel very powerful. It is a lot of fun to wipe out large numbers of opposing players while behind the relative safety of keep walls. Many players will like the changes.

    Some changes may be needed though. It may become too difficult to take keeps, so they may have to do something like put sappers with explosives in the game to blow holes in walls or take siege damage down just a notch. Whatever happens it is an interesting experiment.

    I saw zergs get rekt all day by siege. I love how the game changes when siege actually matters. I saw more keeps and defensive positions defended in one day than I have in a long time. That is good.

    With that said, as a vampire, I was pretty much one shot by fire siege most times. The initial damage plus the dots killed me before I could react usually. The fire siege may be a bit too OP as they stand now, and I wouldn't complain if it was nerfed slightly. But even as a vamp, I still greatly approve of the impact siege has now.

    I like knowing that when I see a red circle, I better get my ass out of town.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Upping siege engines damage is the best update for PvP so far in my opinion. Sieges stopped being boring, defending and assaulting keeps is fun and very intensive now. Running away from red circles (siege fire is finally scary, like it should be!), trying to position your own siege to cause the most troubles for enemy - awesome! :)
    Do you like to run things in all Khajiit teams? Me too, so don't ever hesitate to contact me in game (@RakshaTheKhajiit, PC NA) if you'd like to be in one of our all Khajiit runs or you need more Khajiit for your runs.

    We didn't have a problem with the resources last night. We usually have a few folks behind the lines on Chill checking on keeps etc. They took care of things last night just like usual.

    The next step for ZOS is to try to figure out what else they can do about the lag. It finally got very bad for us and that is rather unusual but with all the new players coming in we will probably find it to be more of the norm.

    Because there is only 1 way to get into a keep.... Go around, make another hole, open the door.
    See that big red circle on the ground...... now you have to actually get out of it or time your rush right.

    This is one of the best things to happen to keep siege /defense

    I enjoy it and I don't...

    Anything that can kill someone in one-two shots without said person being able to respond, shouldn't be in game. Soloing resources with a Ballista, shouldn't be in game. I just got back in game yesterday, and I can say that there are some things I love and things I hate.

    TTK is broken in my opinion, so broken... Damage shield drops for a second or you get hit with one of the unblockable CC's and 90% of the time you're dead.

    CC Break feels slower... Might just be me, but it feels clunky.

    Siege... Is laughable. Laughably effective, and laughably silly stupid OP broken. So I dunno, probably going to be running around with a different build on my DK every few hours until I find something that works, already spent 120k of my own gold and borrowed 30k from two other people :cry:

    Really not happy about the changes to light armor.

    Wait did they change light armor AGAIN? Or are you talking about the 1.6 changes? This new siege damage thing sounds like we all need to wear heavy to survive and I'm not sure the game was intended to run like that. I didn't play last night so don't have an opinion yet on the new siege change either way.

    Your armor wont change the damage you take, minus the fact that heavy offers some HP bonuses and theres a heavy PVP set that reduces siege.
