Indoor crime

Hears_Bright_Colors
Just came back to ESO and have been playing with Justice System a bit. When I get caught committing a crime indoors, it seems I am stuck there, unable to open any doors. Is there anything I can do to get away if caught indoors with an un-killable guard? If I get their health to a certain point, do I exit combat and regain the ability to use a doorknob? Thanks.

Try using a potion that makes you invisible. The new ones have a duration of 10sec+

No fix for this AFAIK at the moment. You're not the first to have such issue and I think it's something ZOS should consider for improvement for sure.

    BTW, cool @name

    Thanks:)

Just making sure I wasn't missing something. Good call on the invis potion, should help with not getting caught in first place.

While I have ya here, the super-guards(ones with a green health bar) seem to ignore shields or maybe I'm misunderstanding the function of my shield. I know they take full unmitigated damage, but how do they act towards bleed damage? Something seems to be going through the resto staff shield and eating my health regardless of how big the shield is at the time.

You can also use a long cc on them. In fact you just need to not take damage for a few seconds to be able to open a door.

I accidently stole a knife in a house and I was then very slowly beaten to death by one of those indoor guards.

    Reminded me of this.

So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

    Solution one:

Die to the NPC who put you in combat. Call it a reminder not to forget solution two.

    Solution 2:

Never, ever, under any circumstances commit a crime with the "prevent attacking innocents" on. That way, if they attack you, you can defend yourself and kill them. So, you get a murder, oh well, its the next step up from theft anyway.

I put on the carebear mode when I am running around normal, but make two changes when I am stealing. Turn off carebear mode and turn on auto-loot anything stolen. Selling lockpicks and other useless junk like racial stones to a fence raises your lagerdamein too.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

if you go invis or use nb shadow skill and it's not a guard, they will forget about you so you don't have to fight them.

I hate it when NPCs try to act like a hero when you're in a building.

You stole an apple from this crate!!?!? I'm going to kill you for that! He proceeds to instantly die.
