about becoming a werewolf

the hardest thing is to actually get it..you'll have to spend weeks on getting it..and i found out in the process an ugly feature of other players, who dont want to give other players a chance to become ones .i wouldnt tell u how to get it and where since i'm sure many know that already and i'm not a spoiler, but the thing that got me is to see this veteran rushing in to kill those poor werewolfs that really spawn once like every never..why,man ? we all know that these wolfs spawn like once in forever !! , and since most of us will never know the cycle ,and exact minutes they spawn ,than most of us will never get the desease as much as we want....

I personally have never found a wild vamp or werewolf spawn, but i've had several vamps and werewolves, just find someone kind enough to give you a bite or find a "free bites" guild like mine.

Google knows where to aquire these bites. It just takes a little time and patience. But time is money, so you can't blame other players for trying to profit off their time spent. Plus it's usually a small amount of money like 30K or thereabouts. Easily acquired in a day or two of grinding which might be the amount of time it takes one to get a bite out in the wild.

Might want to knock a zero off that. Bites dropped into the 3-5k range a long time ago. And, yeah, at that point it is a trivially small amount to a late game player.

That said, you probably wouldn't need to pay for a bite if you don't want to, since there are plenty of wolves and vampires who will give away bites.

The 30k+ prices were a function of a time when the game was new enough that there wasn't a stable vampire/werewolf population, the methods for getting infected weren't well known, and there were serious cadres of players snuffing the rare spawns. The spawns can appear off cycle now. (They don't do it frequently, but it does happen), which messes with the players camping the spawns. And the werewolf and vampire populations are robust enough to gleefully undercut anyone asking for more than 10k.

I only have 4 werewolf bites on my characters...

Actually, I know some of those are on cooldown. Since the conversion to Buy to Play there's been a lot of people either looking for bites or old friends returning who're getting lured into the snarling deathbeast camp.

never charged anyone for a bite just to mess with the spawn camping trolls.

I was given a bite from some nice guildies in Gaiscioch and obtained two other bites (for other characters) in the Rift from spawned werewolves. I've never charged for vampire or werewolf bites.

Remember werewolves appear during the full moon, to know what phase the moon is in look up at the sky.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's actually full moons or just almost full moons. Still, if you see crescents then you know that nothing is going to happen that night.

I don't charge for vamp or WW bite though i will accept tips if offered. I have seen the vets killing the spawns this has been going on since the launch of ww and vamp. Sadly there are morons out there who get their kicks by messing with others. So i loaded up on 2 accounts one filled with vamps and one with werewolfs. i usually offer the bite for free if i notice a lot of stupid people trying to sell bites.

Every single one of my characters is a werewolf purely for the stamina regen bonus (might as well) and everytime i have ventured to Reapers march looking for someone to bite me, i have not had to wait more than about 5 minutes.
