What happened to 'less' ingredients?

1.5 - you chose purple/blue VR recipes and needed maybe 20 ingredients to store for vr blue & purple recipes.

ZOS announce that you will need fewer ingredients to make all recipes from top to bottom. (SPOILER - yes another 'error')

1.6 - 50+ ingredients to fulfil blue and purple vr10 recipes.

Simplification: FAILED

Yeah, if you're only using a few recipes, you could always cull what you carry to just those. If you were trying to carry everything before 1.6, then it's amazing now.

Eh sort of the trade off to not have to worry about provisioning igredients becoming obsolete after a point. Though once I got rid of all the old stuff, with 200 stacking I came out about even.

I would REALLY enjoy being able to drop mats in the guild bank without having to grab like 8 stacks out, stack them, then re deposit. The tons of ingredients plus having to stack all the time is super annoying.

Selling the ingredients that were no longer in use made me 60k gold. There are much less, and they stack to 200. I guess you expected it to drop to a dozen or so? I'm sure glad it didn't, I actually liked the complexity of the original system, but this change isn't bad either.

There are much fewer overall ingredients than there are now, that combined with the fact that they all stack to 200 does save a ton of bank/bag space. My guild's bank went from generally having 400+ bank slots filled down to less than 300 on average after update 6.
